See,,, this is the difference between Deepika Padukone and Shilpa Shetty..!! When Deepika went out of the car to eat at a shop, her attitude changed within a second after getting out of the car and started acting like a proper rich person does and her facial expressions, her eyes, the way she had her eyebrows up, it was clearly visible, she was in attitude, and when Shilpa got out, she did not pretended anything and was in full mood and took pictures with public. I love these kind of persons..

30 years of survival in the industry is no joke. Hats-off to Shilpa! Although, she started with a big movie like Baazigar, but I’m sure this movie wasn’t planned to be at such a scale. It eventually grew during the making. Most of the song sequences were re-shot at big locations when the makers realised that this had a potential to be a big movie. Shilpa wasn’t really great at the start but, with time she started doing good job and very soon made it place for her inspite of competition from Kajol, Rani, Kareena, Sonali who were just around the same time. BB did wonders to her after she was struggling in Bollywood. Her love life was also a big failure with Akshay moving from one girl to another and finally settling with Twinkle. Shilpa came out strong from each setback and is still relevant.

Shilpa Shetty was my first time real life celebrity spotting - actually I bumped into her at Delhi Airport. I was just a kid at that time. She along with her husband and sister were walking briskly towards their chartered aircraft, I believe, after the RR & DD IPL match back in 2010. There was some confusion between me and her security personnel - and unknowingly our paths crossed and we bumped. I didn't know till then whom I bumped into. I looked up and there she was so tall.. with big eyes dotting into my face - smiling at me. She grazed her fingers through my hairs on my little head and moved on towards the gate. It was surreal.... it took me few seconds to realize who they were --- also thanks to their white jacket with RR emblem on it😂.

she has many facets fo her. gym health food yoga fitness mother sister daughter wife businesswoman tv star film star household reality tv name audience connect desi relatable non-pretentious glamourous dancer iconic songs. underdog who managed to stay relevant as a gracefully beautifully confidentally ageing woman in entertainment industry and whose second innings did justice to the person she is. young at heart which is keeping her looking so good. transparent cleanhearted. gets emotional. loyal. supportive to her family. has been providing for her family since teens. resilient in all bad phases of her life. especially pre-UK second innings. she is an underrated case study of celebrity. not the best at acting/dancing/beauty BUT still has made it financially and stardom more permanent and evolved and stayed in indians hearts than her more "talented/iconic/artistic/legendary" counterparts. she is warm like ghar ki daal roti or homecooked food or dhaba or streetfood. chill no stress.
