Thanks for showing the detail about wiring the pine. Beginners take note that the thinner wired branches have the support of the previous wire to anchor them. That’s why you bring the previous wire at least a loop around the thinner branch, so one of the thinner branches now has a steady support.

Nice. Your videos are so educational and this one is very much so. You even exploded the “rule” about not cutting through pine needles! ALSO, you use clear, well spoken English avoiding “uh”, “duh”, and all of the clichés! Cutting needles and wetting them applies to all needle-producing trees? SWEDEN

thanks for explaining about foilage pads. many of the "pro's" will not divulge that detail because it leaves the student a need to to hire that teacher again and again, cause they never get that refined look. Many times, info like that is only taught to an aprentice. It's kind of like the old give a man a fish, u feed him for a day, teach him to fish, you feed him for life saying. Thanks for teaching us how to fish!

Hiya, big fan from Denmark here! I would love to see a video diary, on how to start your bonsai from seedlings and on to a fully fledged bonsai. As a starting bonsai enthusiast, I have plenty of smaller plants, that cannot really be trimmed, wired and potted yet, so would love to see how it is done. :D

Hello Bjorn. Thanks for all the knowledge that you give us. Can you do me a favor? Please delete the music out of this episode and uploade it again so I can here what you are saying about the pines. That would be nice. I think this is a important Episode. Greets Manajo

Did you just say you can cut pine needles without getting them brown??
