Dave sure knows how to payoff everything that he has set up. Ok so first if there's 1 thing I've learned over the years "it's unwise to upset a Wookie" . I had to catch myself saying "DON'T YOU KILL THAT ________" At numerous points throughout this episode because HO BOY they did A LOT. From BK doing the Wookie being bsdass. To the unexpected teamwork. To the massive respect between Din and Boba. To R2 basically just strolling into Peli's shop like he owns the place(bummed there was no bit where Peli is like "R5 what do you mean you know him?") There is little bad I can say about this episode, or this season as a whole. Where else are you gonna get a Rancor rodeo, Yoda's species taming then napping by a rancor, TTFFB(Thank the Force for Beskar), uber Droidikas, and the end of Bane....who died as he lived........LIKE A BOSS(another missed opportunity to inter cut that fight with the unfinished CW arc where Boba gets the dent, but props to that call back to Boba and Koska Reeve in Mandalorian season 2). I hope we see more from this crew because DANK FERRIK it's just wizard

I’m pretty proud to be the fun uncle who introduced my nieces and nephews to Star Wars and so glad they all fell In love with it as well. Unfortunately because of the pandemic and the fact that they all live more than six hours away has kept us from watching these shows together, but we still discuss the seasons whenever we get together. We have been able to see the sequel trilogy together because they were at theaters during our time together at Christmas, but we all agree that they weren’t very good and we wish we could watch these shows together instead. This is why I love your channel because I love seeing that other families fall in Love with this story just as much as mine! Bring on Ahsoka and Obi-Wan, I know we all cannot wait to see what happens next!!!!!

I like to think that Din is more Mandalorian than The Armorer or Paz Vizsla because he stuck Boba when he didn't have to. He realized that loyalty is the way. I don't think Boba respects extreme adherence to their creed but recognizes that Din embodies the virtues of what it's meant to be a Mandalorian.

There were a few weaker episodes but they were all setting up the finale. It all paid off. I really liked this show. I'm also really forward to the Mandalorian's third season.

I think it was great. I was a little disappointed at first because I was expecting bigger cameos and tie ins such has Qira or Han Solo but that doesn't take away from the episode. There is so much Star Wars on the horizon that i welcome the pacing.

Some people are saying Cad Bane probably isn’t dead because he had that life support light flashing on his suit. If he is somehow still alive I would not be surprised. Because how many times in Star Wars have we seen characters we thought dead come back. Also where was Cad Bane’s droid?

Even if he is dead there is plenty of shows / content prior to this that he could appear in. Andor, Lando, and Rangers of the New Republic are all shows he could appear in.

If you look back at the dialogue between boba and bane. Bane mentions to boba about his final messaging saying "look out for yourself" in his "final lesson. He then says " I knew you were a killer" before his death. I think cad, considering his old age, was preparing to die that day. He constantly provoked and threatened boba, to pull out the killer he once knew. Cad probably knew he wasn't leaving Tatooine alive, with his allies being defeated and Shand and Mando still around the corner. Although Bane fought many Jedi and lived, 20 plus years of vacancy and an increase of age will change any bounty hunter. RIP.......

"Hello There." Obi-Wan Kenobi series is dropping on 25th May on the 45th Anniversary of Star Wars A New Hope. I think they might drop the trailer during the Super Bowl. I also think that for season 3 of The Mandalorian will be Din Djarin's spiritual journey of what is a Mandalorian to him especially after what happened in episode 5 of The Book Of Boba Fett. With Grogu choosing the mando it keeps the comic The Rise Of Kylo Ren canon where Kylo says he was Luke's first student. Kathleen did say Mando show, Book Of Boba Fett, the Ahsoka show, The Rangers of the new Republic (which has been scrapped, but now a Bo Katan series is rumoured) will all culminate in a climactic event of which I think will deal with Thrawn.

Boba on a rancor that is awesome and Grogu he may not have been with Luke very long but he did learn a lot about the force and he will be able to help Din and not be protected and what Grogu did to the Rancor is similar to what Kanan was teaching Ezra how to communicate with creatures

@Smols Family Reactions, 34:00 I don't think it was ever about Boba becoming a crime lord. He only wanted the title of "Crime Lord" because it was the one thing that everyone on Tatooine respected and feared. Boba emerged from the belly of the Sarlacc reborn. His time with the Tuscans made him whole. Boba was a angry broken man, hurting; he did what he did because he was looking for acceptance. We saw from Bo-Katan and Koska's interaction with him in the second season of the Mandalorian that they didn't not recognize him. They hold him accountable for Jango's betrayal and his brother's atrocities against Mandalore. Boba had no clan and no house, and we saw from the fifth chapter of this series that a Mandalorian of no clan or house is a nobody--the Children of the Watch turned their backs to Din and we saw how that broke him. Din's currently on a quest to regain their respect--Boba was never given a chance. He was an outcast from the very beginning and I think that that's what his flash backs were telling us. This series started off with young Boba cradling Jango's helmet in an empty Geonosis arena. His flashbacks always showed him watching his father leaving him behind as Jango left Kamino on Slave-1. Boba has always felt alone and that abandonment affected him profoundly. It's no wonder he was portrayed as an angry teen in the Clone Wars or why he became the feared and ruthless bounty hunter we all know from the OT. The anger he carried with him eventually led to his downfall, and if not for the Tuskens he would have died where he laid. Boba was given a second chance, a fresh start, and he took it. The vilified indigenous people of Tatooine showed him compassion and kindness, and it certainly looks like they were the first to ever to do so. They gave him what no bounty ever did, acceptance. Boba finally had a clan and he was finally part of a house, Tusken of the Dune Sea. After his clan was murdered, he sought out his armor, and then literally wrapped himself in the cultures that made him. We now know via his flashback with Fennec that he returned to Tatooine to start his own family (clan) and that he made Jabba's palace his "house." If the Mandalorians weren't going to let him join a clan or house, he was going to make his own, and that's exactly what he did. Boba had no intentions of being a crime lord, and he made that very clear with his actions. He refused to do as the other crime lords did. He didn't want to ride atop a litter to make the citizens of Mos Espa look up to him in fear. He wanted them to see him eye to eye. He didn't want to kill people who disagreed with him like the Water Monger, he wanted a place where people could made their arguments and find some middle grown. Boba had been given a second chance and he was paying it forward to the people of Tatooine. The three Tuskens we saw Boba around were a reflection of who he was and who he'd become. The Tusken youngling was very similar to Boba when he was on Kamino and Geonosis, inexperienced, inquisitive yet brave. Boba from the OT was like the skilled Tusken Warrior who attacked with very precise strikes. The Tusken chieftain is the man Boba is growing into. Boba has managed to do what no one on Tatooine has been able to, unite the people. Boba did get the earn the respect of the people of Tatooine and the joined him in his fight for it. Boba Fett has become a unifier, much like the Mandalorian the Armorer spoke of in the Chapater, Return of the Mandalorian--I still think many think too little of the importance of the lore shared. I think Boba is the rising Mythosaur the Armorer spoke of, he is this generation's Tarre Vizsla. He's no Jedi, but he doesn't need to be. Jedi teachings helped Tarre grow past Mandalorian philosophy, giving him the wisdom he needed to unite his people and herald a new age. I think the same thing is happening to Boba. His successes on Tatooine are going to take him elsewhere. This chapter didn't end the way I expected--I thought it would be a bit more grandiose given the previous two chapters, but I guess this is the down side of having a team of directors doing their own thing from chapter to chapter. I enjoyed the finale, but I do feel that it was a step down from the previous two. The Mandalorian season 3 is going to continue this story, and I hope the fans are more accepting next go around. Star Wars has always been an anthology, but for whatever reason, a good number of them attacked this series to no end. First, they attacked the story for being too Boba centric and never leaving Tatooine, and than it attacked for showing other characters on different planets because Boba wasn't there f(0_o;) Why must the protagonist be the focus of every chapter? Books do what the Book of Boba did all the time--every genre gives numerous chapters to characters other than the protagonist too. Anyway, Star Wars has always been a collection of stories with a bunch of characters existing in the same space and time, overlapping into this or that story--ANH wasn't only about Luke; TESB was only about Darth Vader; RotJ focused more on other matters than Anakin, and yet the Book of Boba Fett gets the ire of the fandom for not being only about Boba Fett=/ I wish the ending were a bit stronger, but I still found the story as a whole very satisfying (safe for the full reveal of the theme song...I prefer it without out them chanting Boba Fett throughout the whole song). I cannot wait until May 25th! 'til next time, May the Force be with you =D

This show (Boba) and Wandavision shows the double edged sword (or lightsaber) of reaction shows and the internet. We can build ourselves up with so many hypotheses of how the show can go between episodes that sometimes we let ourselves down when it airs. Did I work myself up into a rabid frothing lather just convincing myself that Han would show up along with Qira. When I rewatched all the episodes - I have to tell you. I really liked the show. I think it was my own delusional hopes made me feel let down.

As a whole I really enjoyed the series. It wasn't anything like what I was expecting but it was still new Star Wars content that gave us a live action Cad Bane. I'm just glad all of these shows are taking place in a time period closer to the Star Wars that I know and love and not during the time period that I wish I could forget. Didn't Cad Bane call Boba Bobo in an episode of The Clone Wars when he was still young? I can't wait until May 25th now. I really hope we get to see Temuera Morrison play Rex in one of the upcoming series. I would love that so much.

If you watch closely in revenge of the sith when Yoda is fleeing the Senate chambers and jumps into senator organas speeder, it's a blink and you'll miss it moment but if you pause right at the moment he hops into the speeder you see his lightsaber on the side of his hip so he retrieved it after it fell in his duel with palpatine

Cad Bane is always destined to die in a blaze of glory in a duel to the death if not with Boba with someone else but he is/was not the kind of guy who just retired to smoke on a porch. So even if someone else took him and modded him to keep him alive which as much as I like him as a villain I hope they don't he would still be itching to duke it out to the death with someone and he won't stop until he dies by the gun/sword again.🤷🏾‍♂

My only criticism is I think they could have made the Pikes a bigger threat, maybe hint at a bigger organization behind them. All in all, thorougly enjoyed it. Surprised at the interconnectivity with the Mando-Grogu-Luke story. Can't wait for Mando S3!! Bring on Obi-Wan kenobi !!!

I don't get why people think that Boba Fett is somehow going to end up with the Darksaber lol it's about as unrealistic an expectation as a de-aged Han Solo or Crimson Dawn showing up to help Boba, (which is about as absurd as it gets,) or, a little less so, expecting that Cad Bane survived somehow. 😅 (It's those lofty expectations that inevitably lead to _crushing_ disappointing, folks. Something that Star Wars fans should be slightly more aware of than most.) I liked it, yeah I wish Cad Bane didn't go, but they can always still use him at other time periods. And the battle was awesome, although I hated the mods. The way they looked for me did not fit in the SW universe at all. If they threw more star wars clothes on them it might have fit better, but for me it feels like Kathleen Kennedy or someone told him to stuff them in and it wasn't something that Dave and Jon didn't decide on(at least that's how I feel). And I had no emotional attachment to them at all, I felt more for the Gamorrean guards. Also I really wish they had 8 episodes so we could have seen Boba/Bane fight for another 7-8 minutes, a wrap up for Grogu's choice where we actually see it! And I just felt like since two episodes were Mando heavy another episode would have given them more time to wrap everything up in a more meaningful way.

Well... There are some probs with this episode definitely. Rancors are impervious to blaster fire. The mechas blasted it several times, wounding it. Several times(the mods and the Pyke enforcers) they were running at a leisurely pace from blaster fire. It looked ridiculous compared to how frantic the rebels ran from stormtrooper fire in the opening of A New Hope. Immersion broken. Boba never makes an independent decision, in fact any decision, he always get downvoted by Fennec Shand or the Mods. I thought he was supposed to be a crimelord, and crimelords don't rule with cupcakes and roundtable discussions. The scene with Peli Motto showing up was painfully cringe. Who in their right mind gives up a fortified position and opt for a less defensive one??? Jabba's Palace would be the sane choice instead of a bombed-out gambling hall. One should think Mando had learned a thing or two about that in Mandalorian season 1 facing Moff Gideon. Black Krrsantan was limping in one scene, then suddenly fine taking steps the next. Etc. etc. etc. The story was weak and some disturbing things about cupcakes and ruling with kumbai-ya firecamp songs were underlined once again. A very different take than the last 2 episodes which were stellar.

The Kenobi show is on May 25th. Overall I liked the show a lot, but think it also could've been better. I think our expectations were that we would see Boba go all John Wick on people, but instead he was just walking around a lot and Fennec was his muscle. The finale was exciting & great, but I also did think it was missing something that I cannot quite put my finger on it on just what it was. I saw someone else say in one of the past episode reactions, which I agree with completely, that he said the first 4 episodes probably could've been condensed into 2 episodes. I think that would've left even more time to build up to the war and spend more time with Cad Bane and maybe even more cameos and more time to fight. I think the Hutts will come back or even Crimson Dawn to avenge the Pykes at the loss of spice. I think those Droidekas may imply who the Pykes were/are allied with. Part of me wanted to suddelny see Ahsoka show up and roll a detonator under the Droideakas's shields and go, "works every time!". I honestly expected Bo-Katan and her friends to come flying in suddenly to help save Boba and Mando when they were being riddled with laser fire. As far as I know, I do not thin we know anything about the Duros species, do we? So, for all we know, Cad Bane could've still lived and maybe his heart is not where we think it is or Boba stabbed him in a non-lethal area. I did wish Bane had acknowledged Fennec Shand when he saw her and/or asked her, "How's Omega?", LOL! I think we will see Grogu grow stronger in The Force with time as Luke helped unlock his mind and thus, also all his past training. It's funny how we all call Grogu a baby, but he's actually 50 years old. Well, he's probably even 51 or even 52 depending on how much time passed since Mando season 1. LOL...I wonder if during the whole trip do Tatooine, Grogu just kept touching buttons in the X-wing cockpit and R2 had to keep readjusting the controls? I can picture R2 getting frustrated at Grogu keep touching buttons.

Final thoughts on the season: Loved it. There were a few things here and there that I didn't love but that's just the way things go. I can't wait to see RoboCobb. If they don't make a direct RoboCop reference when he shows up I'll be mildly disappointed.

Those aren't QUITE Droidekas. Thay are the roided out older cousins to the Droideka. They're called Scropenek droids, and they are not to be underestimated . In legends they mowed down COLUMNS of clones

It's really very screwed up that they had Luke be so cold as to just dump a baby in a ship practically alone to fly across the galaxy home to Mando. I can't believe Luke would ever be that callous with a child. They really should have spent the extra money to have Luke deliver Grogu home to Mando personally. All that being said and to spite some plot holes in this episode, I really did enjoy the series as a whole. I loved all the back story building of the Tusken Raiders, the flashbacks of the destruction of Mandalor and of Order 66.

Since Grogu is Disney's little cash cow in terms of merchandising their was no way he would be training with Luke offscreen, especially seeing peoples reaction when he popped his head up in the X-Wing, they have to crank out cute little Grogu's wearing the chain mail armor. Jon Favreau said when he created these shows that they would tie-in to the Disney trilogy, so Ben Solo will still be Luke's first student.

i would be sad to see the mayors majordomo get killed. im shipping him and peli! they look like a match to me! you can bet their gonna be a couple in mando s3! that was nothing but a pure Old West shootout but with whistling birds and cannon droids!! where are the thermal detonators? to be honest, in the chaos i had completly forgotten the rancor...i thought boba was going back to get slave 1. that would have been more efficient but not as cool. mando and grogu reuniting was was worth more then any nitpick i had with the show. it wasnt perfect but i walked away happy. thanks for the great reactions! this is the way.

Maybe they're on their way back to the Jedi school where Mando is gonna give Luke a piece of his mind over sending a child across the galaxy (still rife with Imperials) in an X-wing of all things, with an astromech droid for a chaperone! I mean, what were the writers thinking when they came up with that? Anyway, that was a satisfying enough ending, I guess. It could have been better, but given Disney's first attempt with that trilogy ... it could have been a hell of a lot worse. It wasn't a bad show, but it's not one that I'll be returning to often. So, this is been enjoyable, Mr Smols & family and I'll be off now. Seeya again when Kenobi comes around, or Bad Batch - whichever hits first. I've heard they'll be running consecutively, but for now that's only rumour. Take care, seeya next time.
