15:15 shields in Star Wars don't last forever. The more hits they take the more energy they use. They keep shooting at them hoping it'll run out of energy. If they stop shooting they give them a chance to recharge. That's why Droidekas can be taken out with a rocket launcher, because the energy required to take them is too much that it breaks the shield.

I’m glad to see I wasn’t the only one sad about the two Gamorrean’s deaths. They were Boba’s first bodyguards besides Fennec and stayed loyal to both of their masters and to Boba til death. They should’ve lived to see the outcome. Tatooine is finally at peace after so many years and they deserved a peaceful rest of their career as guards. I understand it was necessary for someone on Boba’s side to die otherwise it would be unrealistic, but it’s still really sad to see.

Grogu seemed like he did to Luke, exactly what Luke had done to Yoda. He walked out on his training to rescue people he cared about. I have regarded Luke’s question to Grogu as an attempt to answer the question Yoda once asked Obi-Wan, “Will he finish what he begins?” My gut feeling says Luke fly the X-Wing to Tattooine, and parked out in the Dune Sea, or somewhere. He sent Artoo on the last leg of the journey alone with Grogu. I

This was a fitting end for Cad Bane(if hes indeed dead). After killing so many Clones during The Clone Wars, he is bested by a Clone. I'm pleased as well that Boba was the one to kill him. In a way, Bane was the last tie to his old life as a bounty hunter. By killing him, he has at last freed himself from that old life. In a way, it mirrors the final duel between Obi Wan and Maul in Rebels. #copied

I love the fact that Filoni gave Luke some flaws in this show. Fits the fact that hes still a young man. Luke gave Grogu a quite ridiculous ultimatum. Making a baby choose his path of life (which is many hundred years). Luke sent Grogu alone through the galaxy to return him to Mando. The galaxy is a very dangerous place and this was a clear blunder from Luke putting Grogu in danger. I hope Luke will get confronted with these choices in the future. Perhaps from a force ghost?
@highlander7232 жыл бұрын
Yes I was a little disappointed in that myself. Just because he rejected Luke he sent him into the galaxy all by his lonesome That's pretty fucked up. true he had an x-wing and R2 and He's probably good pilot. The fact Luke was not willing to bend the rules and teach him how to use his forcibilities and Mando teaching him the honor code of the mandalorian was a real missed opportunity.

Loved the finale!!! And love your channel!! You guys are one of my favorites for Star Wars content!
@Brook112232 жыл бұрын
It was a satisfactory finale but Filoni or Favreau should've directed the finale. Rodriguez was not the right choice to direct this episode. The Book of Boba Fett means its the comings and goings of the characters that come to visit, help Boba Fett and leave where Boba Fett is supposed to be relevant but Rodriguez in my opinion didn't make Boba relevant in his own show. Boba may have gotten soft, but Fennic sure hasn't and definitely upstaged Boba Fett.
@markc40082 жыл бұрын
I get that Filoni and Favreau deserve respect for putting out great Star Wars content but this doesn't land on Rodriguez. Rodriguez was the DIRECTOR of the episode. Favreau wrote every single episode (and Filoni helped write E6) so your issues with the relevance of Boba should be aimed at those that actually wrote the show, not the person that directed it.

@brucesnow71252 жыл бұрын
@@markc4008 I am not gonna take away blame from Favreau. Those two Mando episodes, as amazing they were, really hurt the show and that was a dumb decision. Rodriguez was the showrunner though. Writers are important, but showrunners have bigger influence on the product, as they establish the tone and direction. We can clearly see that by how Mandalorian was done vs Boba Fett. If you look at the story as a whole, Boba Fett's arc sounds amazing on paper. A badass bounty hunter who crawls his way out of a monster's insides, gets captured by Tuskens, learns their way and finds a new home only for it to be taken away. He then decides to take action and change things for the better, rather than be a part of all the injustice. Ending with him confronting his long lost mentor and enemy, who he defeats using not his Bounty hunting methods, but what Tuskens taught him instead. This sounds like an utterly epic story, but every episode directed by Rodriguez felt cheap and horribly executed. Compare his work with episodes 2 and 4, and it's like night and day. I liked the show, don't get me wrong. I still enjoyed the shit out of it, but it could've been so much better.
@matthewbertram43122 жыл бұрын
@@brucesnow7125 Agreed. Rodriguez might not have been the best choice for a showrunner. I like him, but I don't think his sensibilities matched up with Star Wars in the most ideal way. It reminds me of WB handing over the DCEU to Snyder. Sure, he has his talents, and his flair. But as the head of the table, I think they're a little out of their depth. I think most of my issues with the finale were because of decisions made in the lead-up, and they did what they could. I still dislike the bike gang. I think they're wildly misplaced. I think the weaker aspects/characters were given much more screen time, and the stronger ones (Cobb, Bane, etc.) were rushed. I get that character preferences are subjective, but I don't expect too many people were clamoring for more bike gang.

Shields in Star Wars, particularly Droid Shields can be breached with the right amount of Force, for lack of a better expression. That's what Fett and Mando were attempting. Red is where the shield was weakest. True, their blasters weren't doing much. But, if you turned and ran from something like that without cover your odds are about as good as the younglings in ROT. Also, the Rancor was that size when the twins brought him in. I figured Cad Bane didn't kill the Tuskens, but not because he didn't see it as honorable. This is tje same man that was kidnapping baby Force users for a paycheck. His comment was saying "Huh. Didn't know the Pykes had bullocks that size to do such a thing" Fett and Mando throwing down was beyond bad ass. They hit every style point there was, made new ones, and hit those too. Then the Modder tried it and failed. The Palatine "Do It" call back was amazing as was the final showdown between Fett and Cad. He couldn't beat him at the Bounty Hunter's game, he isn't a Bounty Hunter anymore. He couldn't beat him at a crime lord's game, he isnt a crime lord. Fett is now a hero. After all, a major theme of Star Wars is turning back to the light from the path of a dark side. Fett is a Hero. And if there is a season 2, I look forwards to it

I can't help but think of the Family Guy Spiderman "you only get one" when Fennec saves the Mods and then flips away. So good. Plus notice when Fett let's her do Fennec things people JUST DIE. Same thing with e4 liberating Slave 1. But I ship the Mod leader and the Freetown lady. From rivals to more! Maybe Cobb's show will replace Rangers of the New Republic? But I definitely think it was just Boba being uncertain, they're definitely staying and now Fett is a benevolent tyrant of Tatooine. Though I was disappointed by the lack of gaffi master (guess she is dead?) or really any Tuskens

Cad Bane wanted more than anything to have a gun duel against Boba Fett, its the only reason he came to Tattoine and joined the Pikes to begin with. And sadly there was no way to steer him away from this course of action in which only one would come out alive.
