I met Emily at a Sioux Falls SD Cancer fundraiser convention last summer. I know that event is near and dear to her, but the amount of time she spent just roaming the event, talking to fans and taking in the fandom was amazing! Most Star Wars talent seems gracious and interested in the fans, but Emily's interaction and care is right up there with the late Jeremy Bulloch.

The Armorer is just so great. The scarcity with which she is used is what helps her become such an interesting character because everytime she does show up, it's for something important, she knows a bit more than everyone else, and there's some mystique because she isn't always present. It's also nice to see the face under the helmet.

Ok, I'm gonna be that guy, in a bit. First off, what an interview!! You two had me laughing and then it got all dusty in here a couple of times, but at least it didn't get to snot running levels. You all are awesome and this was a fantastic view into the work and what you all do. Anyhow, farmer's hate "daylight savings" because, as noted, the animals don't have either clocks or the InfernalNet, so all they think about is it light enough to go eat, poop and all that. Farmers run on farm time and what the animals need, not what the clock says.It was a "war time" thing to reduce energy use by factory workers. So it's big money getting their congress critters doing something to put more coin in their pocket. I may be cynical on that, but I did serve in the Marines for twenty years. Keep them coming, and I'm out here enjoying these chats with folks you know and, of course, Jeph.

I love both of you’all and the work you do. I can’t exactly quantify what Bo provides for me, but I can say what she represents and means to me. Maybe that’ll help. For me she’s the personification of strength and rezilliance along with so much else. She’s made mistakes and been through so much in her life. She’s been kicked down and broken so many times, but each time she just keeps getting back up and forging on and trying to do better and learn from her mistakes. But she also has her vulnerabilities and needs support like anyone else like in s3 and that makes her human and relatable. Some of my favorite moments are the ones where she’s softer and more vulnerable and lets her guard down. But she’s also incredibly strong and capable and staoic like I said before. I don’t know I just have a lot of respect for her and her steadfast determination to achieve her goals. Also frak up Fridays! I love it! Like a mistake you made and how you learned from it.

I must note, to Ms Sackhoff, that your description of the process of being measured for your Star Wars armor, on the turntable and with lasers, reminded me of a 1981 Michael Crichton movie entitled LOOKER, with Albert Finney and Susan Dey. Don't know if you have seen that or not (it's not one that's burning up the streamers), but, listening to your description, it now feels chillingly prescient. P.S. re: SUPERNATURAL ... Yeah, the 15 seasons is a long haul. My wife and I binge-watched it, on an off-and-on basis, and it takes commitment. It's worth it, in the long run (I love the episodes involving the Ghost Facers), but it's almost better to commit without promising that there will be no gaps. Ultimately, not as bad as trying to binge the entirety of DARK SHADOWS.

Being a vet I liked how much military realism was in the show. The only thing that rubbed me the wrong way is you mixed army and navy ranks in the same chain of command. Despite what some people expected if not wanted, I was very happy The Armorer was ultimately a smart pragmatic, who wanted what's best for Mand'alore instead of a stereotypical "cult leader". A unified Mand'alore was the far better option than everyone following "the way".
