I noticed that Paz Vizsla had a harder time wielding the dark saber than Din, even though Paz is much stronger than Din. When Din was defensive with the dark saber, he moved with less effort. I'm pretty sure the armorer seen all this and knows that Din is a top candidate of sorts to possess the dark saber. Now she has cast him out, but I think it is a test more than it is rejecting him. Kind of casting him out into the wilderness to prove himself kind of thing. This episode was not only visually awesome, it was plot rich as well. It exposed a whole bunch of doors that can be opened up. The more I watch, the more I want.

This world of reactions is still new to me but I really enjoy your insights. It’s more than the expected “that’s cool” or “let’s go”. I like how you examine the subtext of the scenes and dialogue. Like pointing out that Mando is probably the best to have the saber bc he doesn’t want it. I personally don’t like/trust Bo Katan and wouldn’t put it past her to betray or challenge Mando for the saber. Regarding the eppy….loved that Mando silo at the beginning of the show. Shocked but excited to see him using the saber. Loved seeing the armorer again and watching her teach and train Mando about their history and using the saber. I like Mando but there’s just A LOT he doesn’t know. He needs this education. I think the armorer made Grogu chainmail. LOL at seeing Mando take public transportation. Ha! The ship is cool but I’ll miss him being able to have/carry other people onboard. Loved the tone of family and “tribe” the Mando felt toward Boba when he told Fennec he’d help for free. 🙂 I’m worried his visit with Grogu won’t go well OR he’ll get sidetracked and not see him . OR maybe he does reunite and Grogu goes with him to Mandalore and uses the force to restore those waters the armorer was talking about. Don’t know, but excited to see what happens next.

The Darksaber getting heavier as you use it might be a call back to one of George Lucas's ideas when he was creating the lightsaber as a weapon. Originally Lucas wanted the lightsaber to be heavy to wield because of all that power it contains and produces. That's why only the highly trained Jedi can wield them because they have the right will and strength to do so.

SO MANY people are _still_ whining and complaining about The Book of Boba Fett, the series, despite the show providing some of the best Star Wars in decades, because it happens in the context of the Boba Fett series. Because the story they were telling about Boba Fett only required so much time, they clearly had some extra time to fit in some extra stuff. It's nearly impossible for some to be grateful, clearly. Accept what we get, instead of insisting everything match up, (or especially exceed,) some people's lofty, unrealistic, and even unreasonable expectations. The failure of some people's ability to properly manage their expectations, speculate responsibly, so to speak, is making the "perfect" the enemy of the "good enough." And it's something you'd think Star Wars fans, in particular, would have learned, (the hard way,) after The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi. But, of _course_ not! 😂 Thanks for remaining positive, at least, you guys. Seriously. ✌

I grew up loving the N-1 soooo much I even had the foot-and-a-half long working model complete with light up cannons and sounds, and I always loved fighter jets irl. I joined the Army to work on Apache helicopters and as I learned from that I always had these running ideas of things I would do to my very own N-1 if it were possible to own one. I always thought of this concept design in my head as the N-9 Senatorial Starfighter, a souped up N-1 with a gunner seat and aftermarket cannons. This brought that image to life for me and made it even better with the hood scoop and the hot rod look, that was way better than I ever imagined it looking. I was in tears as he landed and when he said “wizard” I had to pause it I was laughing and crying at the same time. Thank you sooo much for sharing this reaction, I vibed right along with you guys. Edit: Also, I think that Disney kinda knew that they couldn’t bring Din back into the picture without explaining the cliffhanger they left us on with the Darksaber in Mando S2. I'm thinking that this episode was a prequel to Season 3 of the Mandolorian, like how Boba Fett's appearances in Season 2 were the tie-ins for this series. We might not get to see what's in that bundle until Season 3, or we might get a glimpse. We shall have to wait and see.

20:43 A piece similar to what Han Solo used to brace the walls of the Trash Compactor in A New Hope.

given their brutality, the mandos are more emotionally and psychologically healthy in their willingness to make connections and to express emotion than the jedi. one jedi had a romance with a clone, got pregnant and hid the child from him. The Jedi are so hypocritical in a number of items than others given their loudly proclaimed piety. cutting off your emotions and relationships in some kind of medieval style monastic lifestyle is not normal for humans. It can be lived and done. Some even flourish but having it a requirement is not healthy nor normal.

Well with the exception of the Star Wars anime, all media is considered canon so it makes sense for BD to appear. They also acknowledge Fallen Order in Bad Batch. They go to Bracca which is the junk planet in the beginning of the game and even encounter the Scrapper Guild which Kal is apart of! When they write the stories for the game they had to deal directly with the Lucasfilm Story group to make sure everything aligned with the rest of the canon.

It is a bd unit, but one of the KZbin channels that do Easter eggs and stuff like that shows that it's not actually bd1.

Is not the first time that a video game character get cannon, the Repúblic Commandos appear into Clone Wars and Bad Batch 🙌🏻✨ Wonderful episode, I didn’t expect this level of greatness🤩

Fallen Order is Canon already. Not to mention the person Cal is modeled after and voiced is a pretty popular actor. I could see them bringing in that character.

@@andrewestrada250 I hope that they bring him in after the events of the 2nd announced game into a Series like the mandalorian 4 or something like that
