I could listen to Joseph Spencer all day long. He has a very insightful approach to structure in the Book of Mormon not only by Nephi, but by Mormon and Moroni.

This round table discussion opened my spiritual mind to comprehend and widen my perspective in reading the Book of Mormon. The gift of every person in the round table is truly amazing the way you read, search and ponder every verse and chapter of the Book. Thank you for selflessly sharing it. This is indeed treasure of eternity ❤️

I REALLY liked the pointing out the repeated (and perhaps not obvious) sequence/themes of creation, the fall and redemption in the 1st verse, and throughout Nephi's writings. And I appreciated the points made regarding the 8 years vs a short amount of time, so that we can more closely appreciate the "long slogs" in our own lives. I love this perspective! Keep it up!

Great way to put it: the 'long slogs' in life test us but the fact that they are common to the faithful suggests there is purpose. Purpose that's meaningful to our personal development. Thank you for calling this out!!!

What book is Joe Spencer using, from which he is reading Book of Mormon scriptures? It doesn't look like a Book of Mormon. Is it a book Joe has written perhaps?

To me, the Book of Mormon is a vitamin supplement. The Bible is our everyday meal. Taking a vitamin supplement doesn’t hurt as long as we don’t forget to take our main meals which supply us with major nutrients.
