Great Doctrine! I love the truths contained in the Bible, Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and The Pearl of Great Price! If we are feasting on God's word, with faith, the Holy Ghost will tell of all things we should do. Not at once, but little by little. Until we through the grace of Christ, become a Perfect man, with the measure of the stature of the fullness of Jesus Christ!

I know how busy the BYU religion professors are. This gift of their time and expertise is much appreciated from this gospel student’s perspective. These videos have enhanced my Book of Mormon studies in delightful and unexpected ways. Thank you all. This is like Education Year instead of Education Week.

I have never commented on a KZbin video but the circumstances which led me to this video merit a comment. I was reading 2 Nephi 31:17-20 and, strangely enough, I heard Bro Wilcox's voice reading the words in my head. As soon as I recognized that it was his voice I was hearing I had the thought to Google "Brad Wilcox Doctrine of Christ," this was the top result. I watched it and a lot of the information answered some prayer and pondering I have been doing. Thank you for taking the time to make this video!

Brad Farnsworth (white hair) was my stake president when I was growing up. His hair was black back then. He's a profound thinker with a lot of gospel understanding.

I’m grateful for this explanation of how simple The Doctrine of Christ is and that God said it was complete. I was misled my entire life to believe that making temple covenants through ordinances and following the prophet was what Christ wanted me to follow. Now I can focus on Christ alone and disregard all the other false teachings of man.

He has a point at the 23:08. He is spot on about people having their truths but when studying and reading scripture its one truth. One gospel. Though people in church may falter and hurt the image of the church. Thats on them but when living the way Christ wants us to thru the his church. Your live is forever changed. I testify this church is christ church and restore as promised in the latter days. Living the ordinances and making covenants strengthens your spirit. Natural mam is an enemy of God. We are of spirit and therefore must feed our spiritual daily. Thats why there is the Gospel.

This was a beautiful lesson about the doctrine of Christ! However I think we as members of the LDS Church need to ponder more about how we actually receive the gift of the Holy Ghost-or the baptism of fire baptism of the Holy Ghost. It’s an actual event that we are neglecting in the Church. A careful study of the Book of Mormon reveals many examples of people being born again by receiving their baptisms of the Holy Ghost. Why isn’t this emphasized in the church? 3 Nephi 9:20 tells us how we can have this 2nd baptism! We need to offer our broken hearts and contrite spirits to God! And we need to teach others how to receive this baptism of the Holy Ghost. Time is short!

Questions for Mormons. I’m reading the book for the first time. 1- why does Book of Mormon say God is eternal god. Yet in king Follet discourse smith days god wasn’t eternal but was once a man on an earth who became a god from his god? 2- if Jesus was already God that’d mean he already became exalted. So why did he have to come back to die on the cross to be exalted again?

I was surprised that you did not mention 2 Nephi 32:6 - that is where the teachings of Nephi are ended about the doctrine of Christ. That is where he tells us that the crowning event of mortality is the second comforter.

Any way you can talk slower? You are saying very important things, but it is hugely hard for those not mother-language to follow you. Brethren, I appreciate having these precious resources at hand, but as the Church becomes more and more “global” ... many would appreciate you slowering your speech 🙏 Thank you very much for sharing these videos 🙇♀️
