What really is scary is not knowing about this great book, is for the believes to know the things that are coming and to find peace in the Lord Jesus Christ, understanding the symbols of the books is very important so we don't misunderstand it, something you need to know, if you read this book and believe it there is an angel that will be next to you and listening to your prayers

Second Coming Visions in Revelation: Christ returns at the end of Revelation chapter 6, with signs in the sun, moon, and stars, as are found in the Olivet Discourse. Those at the end of the chapter are hiding from the wrath of the Lamb. Why would they be hiding if Christ is not present? @Marian Wakeman I have been doubting my faith as well! I know he’s real and I love him so so so much but I just doubt my faith! I will tell you this tho, you should try reading your bible and putting your mind at an ease state! Try focusing on God more, try giving him more of your time, but try to be consistent with it! I’m still working on it myself and that’s probably why I’ve been doubting myself lately. Another suggestion is, don’t be so hard on yourself! We all are sinners and we’re not so good at staying connected with him. At some point we all Weill shift away from him, but he puts certain things in our life to make us come back to him! It’s not gonna be easy putting your sin away for more time with God but you can do it!!❤️🙏🏾

Revelation 1:3 NIV "Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near." As far as I know this is the only book in the bible that we are credited with blessings just for reading it. Love the work you're doing Allen. It is of utmost importance that everybody is encouraged to read and study Revelations for themselves because as you said there are many interpretations.

The surface level meaning of a passage is usually not hard to discern, but as you peel away at the text, discerning its genre, unique vocabulary, repeated words, and other literary, grammatical, and historical features, the meaning becomes sharper and more pronounced. The “taste” of the passage becomes stronger and sweeter. May God Bless you with a hunger to read His Word and may you experience the fullness that comes from savoring the Bread of Life.

@@marcjoseph3418 What is the Tribulation period even for? It's for the Jews, to bring them to faith. We Christians are already IN the faith. There is no biblical reference to the Church (on earth) from Rev. 4 to 22. Church is promised exemption from divine wrath. (1 Thess. 1:10, 5:9, Rom. 5:9, rev. 3:10, 6:17) The rapture is imminent! 1 Cor. 15:51, 1 Thess. 4:15 If it's imminent, that means we can't know when it's coming, but it could be any minute. If it comes after the 7 year Tribulation period, we'd know when it was coming. And that's far from imminent. ;) James 5:8 Be ye also patient; establish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord is at hand. - If we know we have at least 7 years to wait, this verse makes no sense, and it makes a liar out of the Lord. Because He is saying His coming is at hand, ANY TIME. There are so many verses showing Jesus can come back any time, and that won't fit with any "trib" except pre. The Rapture is a comfort. 2 In Thess. 2 Paul is assuring the people that the rapture had not happened yet. There were false teachers spreading this lie. So he goes on to explain how things will work. And he ends with this statement: "Wherefore [g]comfort one another with these words." How much comfort would the taking away of us to security be if we have to go through 7 years of hell on earth first? Not much! And then we wouldn't need it because the Tribulation would be over. And then we'd come right back to earth to reign with Christ. This does not make sense. The whole purpose of the pretrib doctrine is to bring comfort to us. Jesus first told us about it in John 14:1-3 Let not your heart be troubled: [a]believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father’s house are many [b]mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I come again, and will receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. - He is telling us, don't trouble yourself with the things to come, I am going to take care of you. Why wouldn't our loving father do this? Also, why does He speak of a place where He will receive us and keep us in, if He is coming back and we are going to live on earth for 1000 years? How can He go and prepare a place for us when He's supposed to COME BE WITH US? What about Titus 2:13 looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory [a]of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; - How would it be a blessed hope if we have to go through part or all of the Tribulation? That would not be much consolation realistically. Then there is the restrainer in 2 Thess. 2:6,7 6 And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. - The Holy Spirit is the restrainer. He is holding back the man of sin. Once the church is removed, so will the Holy Spirit within us as a ministry be removed. The lawless one then comes on the scene. He can't show up until we are removed. ----> Rapture Symbolic parallels. 2 Peter 2:5-9 5 if he did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a herald of righteousness, with seven others, when he brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly; 6 if by turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to ashes he condemned them to extinction, making them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly;[a] 7 and if he rescued righteous Lot, greatly distressed by the sensual conduct of the wicked 8 (for as that righteous man lived among them day after day, he was tormenting his righteous soul over their lawless deeds that he saw and heard); 9 then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials,[b] and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment, Luke 17:26-30 26 Just as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of Man. 27 They were eating and drinking and marrying and being given in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise, just as it was in the days of Lot-they were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building, 29 but on the day when Lot went out from Sodom, fire and sulfur rained from heaven and destroyed them all- 30 so will it be on the day when the Son of Man is revealed. What do these have in common? In both the righteous are removed from harms way, before judgment comes. This is just a small portion of proofs. The verse that usuaally used to condem tattoos (Lev 19:28), says that you should not mark your body in remembrance of death people. Different translations says different things. One verse before Lev 19:27 says you should not cut your beard.

I disagree with you on the timing though because the tribulation is not for the church but for Israel, which is why it’s also referred to as Jacob’s trouble. We are preparing for difficult times right now and it’s going to get rough, but it won’t be the tribulation. The church is in Revelation up to chapter the beginning of chapter 4, and is not mentioned again until chapter 19. Those who are saved during the tribulation are the tribulation saints, we are the bride. Big difference. God bless.

@E RH Also, take a look at 2 Thessalonians 2:7-8.... It says that the Holy Spirit is restraining (or preventing) the antichrist from being revealed, until he is taken out of the way. The Holy Spirit dwells within the believer so we have to be out of the way. Verse 8 then says “And then”... so after we are out of the way, the antichrist can make his appearance and will be revealed. Verse 7-8 is an explanation or expansion on what is said in verse 3. There is a couple of great documentary movies made with regards to the rapture and the tribulation. I highly recommend them. One is called ‘The coming convergence’ and the other is ‘Before the wrath’.... absolutely explains the events really well and in great detail. They are available to view online, I think they are available to rent and watch on KZbin or you can purchase and download. 😊🙏🏻

We are in the Gospel Era, the millennial Reign aka the 1,000 year Reign right now. satan is locked up right now and before you heard the Gospel Message you were locked up with him in the chains of sin and death. The Gospel makes us free!!! This is the Gospel, which today's teachers have also distorted, but the Gospel is so very simple: Jesus conquered sin and death and then sent the Holy Spirit. They teach us that Jesus will be a future earthly king for a 1,000 years??? Jesus said over and over that this earth is NOT His Kingdom, He is a Heavenly King NOT an earthly glitter and gold king. Check out this video I made on the Greek word ge in Revelation, it means land, soil etc. NOT global earth like today's false teachers teach us, so of course if you translate it as global earth (God would of used the word kosmos though if that were the case) then of course all of Revelation is future, because 1/4 and 1/3 of the earth is not yet destroyed, but if you translate it as land, then 1/4 and 1/3 of the land of Israel was already destroyed. So understanding the Greek word ge is soooooooooo important in studying Revelation.
