After listening to this, and reading the Book of Revelation, I understand and believe in Christianity. I also looked into past global events, and saw how the Book can be interpreted as a call to the shattering of unholy empires, a revolution against the unholy, with the work of the people, whether they are filthy, righteous, poor, miserable, and the holy. I feel as though past world events including the Spanish Flu was a part of the Book of Revelation. WW2 was a part of it, as were the extermination of the holy, either Jewish, or Christians who shared their values, and the fight that caused Hitler to die, or one of the Antichrists of current history. I can see this book as a part of global events, as a form of prediction.

It wasn't cancelled, we just went on hiatus because Zenimax said to us "You can remake the game, but you can't use voice actors lines, because its against their contract and you'd have to pay them, and doing so would essentially be copyright of our original product" - So OG voice acting was removed, some voice actors (like the fire ant kid) actually volunteered to come back and do his lines for free. His voice puts power into everything he says, without resorting to volume and force to do it. I'm agnostic myself, but I've always found Christianity to be extremely fascinating to learn about. Even if you don't believe in it, there's all sorts of value to be extracted from it. Understandably, though, it's difficult to convince people to read it if they don't have an interest in religion. This is a fantastic way to get new people actually listening through and becoming interested, and just an extremely cool video in general.

@@zzodysseuszz Christian and "honestly don't care for the Bible" is a dangerous combination. We are commanded to read the Word everyday for worship, for study, and to wash ourselves with the Word. I understand a lot of people, Christians included, wonder why there's multiple translations, why most are wrong or biased by who was on the board when that translation took place, etc. but as with all things, consult God about that. He is however, the real author of that book. I personally have NASB (North American Standard Bible, 1995) and I would never touch NIV or really put too much weight in KJV or NKJV. I'm neutral on English Standard Version, but there's a lot more that are just watered down versions that are trying to appeal to an audience that wouldn't be receptive to the truth anyway. It's actually crazy how many translations people have made of it.
@zzodysseuszz Жыл бұрын
@@A-A-RonDavis2470 no, Christian and the bible is a dangerous combination. Pretty much any bible you are able to read is false. They are mistranslated from centuries of propaganda, the texts have been influenced by the Quran over the course of centuries. The original language is near impossible to accurately translate to English and the current versions were translated from Greek which the Greek bibles were full of completely made up stories the Greeks invented (the Greeks were notorious for taking stories from other religions and combining into one). I cannot consult god about anything bc god does not talk. He does not listen. If you genuinely think god will be of any help here then you are delusional. God has never talked to anyone since the ancient times of the bible where he would literally manipulate reality to demonstrate that he exists. No evidence he does that now or since. A Christian reading any accessible bible now is just asking for brainwashing and propaganda. Study history, study the cultures and study the language. @@BlueSkullFish I suppose some clarification would help with what I meant by what I said. I'm LDS, like Joshua Graham, and it wasn't too long ago in American history where we were violently persecuted in New York, Ohio, Illinois, and Missouri. It was the persecution that finally pushed the Saints into Utah and led to much of the west being settled. Thankfully, the violence has come to a stop but whenever we're mentioned in conversation or media, it's *usually* with derision. You're right in saying much of the world holds some kind of faith, but to say we run the world is extremely outdated. Most developed and developing countries have separated Church and state power several hundred years ago, a practice which I'm fully in favor of btw. What I don't support is God being pushed out of the public square and persecutions taking place to this day in India, Burma, Vietnam, South Africa, Nigeria, and other places. So I would hardly call this a "persecution complex." What I would call your comment is narrow-minded and ignorant.
@BlueSkullFish Жыл бұрын
@@jabby8460 you just described a persecution complex. 1) mormons were persecuted by other Christians and that was so long ago it’s absurd to act like it’s still a thing. And just casually gloss over all the fuck up things Mormons did to other people (Danites??) and the fact that it is a cult. My best friend is ex-Mormon so I have a good handle on what they’re like to apostates. 2) you’re naming random countries (that you don’t live in) and acting like there’s some kind of genocide against Christians (there isn’t) in those countries. Not only that, but you’re glossing over the persecution Christians have done to other religions since the time of Constantine to literally today. The Iraq war ring any bells? How Christian Right wingers purposefully suppressed knowledge and research into AIDS to try and kill off LGBTQ people in the 80s? The complicity of evangelical movements in the various Latin American dictatorships of the 20th century? Cry me a river buddy. No one is persecuting you. I always loved the respect that Honest Hearts showed religion. Unlike most games where they would have treated religion like a joke and poked jabs at it.

As someone who doesn't really identify with any religion, the sheer amount of work & dedication this must've taken is jaw-dropping, and the delivery through Joshua Graham's voice elevates it so much more. Very cool stuff.
