Hey you guys, hope life is treating you well. As I said before in a post life is beyond a little hectic at the moment. Due to certain circumstances I have to move across the country, so my plan of putting out my bigger projects have been slowed to say the least. I figured in the meantime I would put out a video script I've been picking at for some time. I have a lot planned for the channel and for life. I want to thank all of you who watch and support the channel. I truly do appreciate it.

@@DariusFlynt_2012 If you're questioning your faith, then it is no longer your faith. Once you begin asking questions/forming a line of thought like that one there, Faith (in our traditional sense) starts falling apart. I get it, and I understand. I once struggled to keep my faith under the duress of my later teen years, and I felt rather lost for awhile there. That said, my faith is no longer of a traditional cloth. I sewed my own. I have faith in myself, my family, and all of humanity. And that is enough, for now.

Shit man you nailed it again. The whole part about "I have no enemies" is not only so on point, but also so in character for Joshua Graham. He was forced in fire and despite being so faithful, know that if you have no enemies - you'll be killed be "friends"

I wish we lived in world where "I have no enemies" applied. It's supposed to be a lesson that everyone has their own justification and it's never personal. That there is no reason for us to hate anyone mo matter what they do to us. Unfortunately, that's not the case.

This was eye-opening. I recently shared that exact quote you mentioned on Facebook thinking I was being profound, but after this video I have a different perspective. I'm realizing I identified with it because saying you have no enemies is an easy way to escape the responsibility of fighting for the future you want. In truth I have many enemies, and most of them are parts of myself. Thank you for sharing this.

the problem is that most people don't have the right mix of both soft and tough love. some people grow up with too much masculine tough love, this can lead someone to view discipline and self restraint as oppressive and unloving when no flexibility is given. this leads one to go to the opposite extreme of that and have no strong values or self control many more people grow up with too much soft, motherly love and are never told boundaries and how to be a decent human being. mothers have a tendency to want to be friends and closer to their kids than the father, which inherently isn't a bad thing, however if you don't have a strong father figure giving tough love to balance this out it can enable the child to not be able to really properly function as in the real world there are tough times and mean people out there. simply wishing the world was a softer kinder place does not magically make it so. in the modern age the balance between the parents has been completely destroyed. many people grow up with one parent, or go between the two parents, or otherwise just don't have parents that cooperate in parenting.

To the young men in here feeling lowly; you have not lost yet completely kings, merely your crowns are so drawn with filth you've forgotten the glitter you bear into this world. Do your best through the torrent darkness ahead to keep it glinting while you carry your lantern. And for those like me who are aging and already had your time; brush off your pelts of selfishness and lend your hand to light another's if yours burns bright. We cannot achieve getting to the top of the mountain when we are holding each other down like crabs in a bucket. Be each other's strengths, and in turn lay bare your weaknesses so we may build the proper foundation to move our true way forward. I love you all, stay strong and smile ❤

Been a while since I've gone and looked for your videos again. Something just hits deep down when I listened to you videos once more. In anything, one must always have a tough love to deal with the world. One must always deal with searching for their purpose, and keep growing toward it. As I see the truth, hear it from this video, and a quote that fits. "No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it." - Hebrews 12:11

I am forever blessed to have them. I have tried, but haven’t tried nowhere hard enough. I am glad that you make these. I am glad that you are encouraging and inspiring people to go out and improve their life, mind, spirit, finances and body. About the violence portion of the video- I believe that being completely harmless is an awful thing, it means you are nothing but a pawn. I also believe that being Ruthless is an awful thing because it means you will be alone. I have tried to be both of these things and discovered first hand that neither of them work for both reasons. Like most things, moderation Is key- to be strong when it is called for and to do what needs to be done, but not to become a destroyer.

I do everything I can and I know my weaknesses as much as I know my strengths, and I try everything I can to pull at least some of my weight. I grew up sheltered and have always been afraid of everything, even growing up in a society such as Norway. I didn't initially identify with everything said in this but I agree- I am a weak man and I won't shy away from this. I *know* this and I have made peace with it, but I will try and be the best weak man I can be

I found this video thinking "lol joshua graham ai haha funny" and then after listening to the entire thing I have to say you've done a good job of making me look in the mirror. I have to say, at first I felt bad about being called out, but that's a good thing because it means you're right. Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to suddenly wake up tomorrow with a complete change of heart and new motivation to get my life together. I'm too stubborn and lazy to do that, but you put the idea in my head. If my future development into a better person were a tree, you planted the seed. Well, you my mother, and a therapist, but hearing the same "get your life together" talk from the voice of a character I like is helping. It sounds stupid when I say it out loud, but it's true. I've been stalling and self sabotaging myself for too long. I live with my mother and haven't really done anything with my life since high school. I didn't like college so I dropped out, but I had to do something with my life so I tried joining the military. I wimped out 2 weeks into basic training and came back home feeling like I was useless and didn't belong anywhere in the world, so I just became a shut-in. I've always been the antisocial, introverted type and being a shut-in is basically my default state of being if I'm not being forced to go out and do something. And so for the past year I've done just that. Doing nothing but sleep, game, watch, and eat; under the impression that I will suddenly become a better person and move out when the time comes. As if I'll have some kind of spontaneous transformation one day, but that's not how it works. I can't wait for the time to come. I have to make my time come myself. And when I do, the transformsation won't be instant. It'll take time, effort, and discipline. All things I have difficulties managing, but it's better I start now then wait for the supposed right time because like you said, the "young and dumb" excuse becomes a real problem when you hit your 30s. I am 20 years old, but if I keep following the "my time will come eventually" mentality, I'll be stuck in this state of nothing for the rest of my life. I can't let that happen. I've been a burden on my family and society long enough. As much as I dislike society, It's mostly because I feel it does suit my wants and needs, but who cares what I want or need? I can't change society, but I can change myself. Then my wants and needs will be fulfilled by myself. And ironically, it will feel better earning those wants than to have them handed to me. It seems like a no-brainer that a reward feels better when you had to work for it, but my lazy unmotivated self hadn't thought about that until now. Like I said earlier, I'm not going to wake up tomorrow with a sudden change of character, newfound motivation, and get my life together in one day all because of one inspiring video I saw late at night. I need to take the time to develope good habits and break bad habits. Take small steps. True change, at least in my case, will take time and effort, but it's better that I get that ball rolling now than wait for it to magically roll itself. I'm rambling at this point. In short, I appreciate you making videos like this to put people like me into perspective. It's a real good wake up call that I needed. I put it on as background noise to listen to while gaming, but I ended up pausing the game and really listening, because you've genuinely spoke to me. And if you can get through to my stubborn skull like that, then maybe I can too. I know this is a long comment and you probably wouldn't read it out of many, but if you do, know that I appreciate the tough love.

While I agree that just agreeing with that Vinland Saga quote is vapid and not virtuous, I would say it has value in the context of the show it was presented in. It was meant to steer the character away from seeing skills in violence as the be-all end-all of existence, that you have no enemies besides the ones you take on from your government or points of view. Watching these makes me wish I could speak with Joshua.

You had me until the Vinland Saga “ I have no Enemies” diatribe you gave. Some context the main character for that show was a murdering psychopath that only chased revenge until he pulled himself from the brink of a endless path of murder. The people relating to that are young men/women who are over-consumed with rage and negative emotions that they cant even see the other side of the struggle. The quote “I have no enemies” speaks volumes with context 😉

Kind of a interesting work. It sounds and feels like the character from NV but clearly this is different. I am watching this channel for first time. You can notice that after 5min but before that it feels like the lines are from NV. This character from NV is great for a reason. Voice actor adds a lot too but script is a different story. This sounds like well thought out and written script. I guess AI was used for voice which adds some important spice. It's just pleasant to listen to. It's just interesting because I think many people would learn many truths from this video. I have lived for 20+ years experiencing many things. I have watched and learned many things. A lot of what I had to learn by myself is told here. This is one cool and unique video :)
