Speaking of romance, Mary Bly, who wrote the book Lizzie & Dante, *is* a Professor of Shakespeare, just like her character. She's the daughter of the poet Robert Bly and short story writer, Carol Bly. But most interesting is that Bly also writes historical romances under the name Eloisa James. She's written around 30 romances and used to hide the fact that she did so from her co-workers until she decided that that sounded like she was ashamed of it. So, she finally let everyone know and has attended book conferences and written articles about the stigma against romance novels and authors.
