Speaking of romance, Mary Bly, who wrote the book Lizzie & Dante, *is* a Professor of Shakespeare, just like her character. She's the daughter of the poet Robert Bly and short story writer, Carol Bly. But most interesting is that Bly also writes historical romances under the name Eloisa James. She's written around 30 romances and used to hide the fact that she did so from her co-workers until she decided that that sounded like she was ashamed of it. So, she finally let everyone know and has attended book conferences and written articles about the stigma against romance novels and authors.

I read 4 of the same books as you did and loved them. Seven Days in June was an amazing romance. Detransition, Baby should really be talked about more. I liked it so much! People You Meet on Vacation was a fantastic, light, beach read. And Malibu Rising was pretty good too. My favorite book that I read this month was The Other Black Girl. I see that most people seem to be giving it between 3 and 4 stars, but I absolutely loved it. Weird books in office settings with a satirical edge seem to be something I love.

A Little Life is what I read in June. I first heard of it from you and was really fascinated about the plot and characters ect. Then when I went to Barnes and noble I went for 2 books but saw a little life and had to get it too. I loved it and glad you introduced me to it.

Best book(s) were definitely the second and third book of the from blood and ash series. Ive been eyeing the series for a while and I'm SO glad I finally picked it up cause its one of my new favorite series plus there's a ton more books and spin-off series coming based in the same world!

I rarely read romance books but this one was sent to me in a book box. The Soulmate Equation was great! I give it a 5.
