Very interesting story of how you aquired your "Miss Read" bks! I am THRILLED you started a channel! I SO look forward to ALL your posts and I would be SAD if you didn't do a book tube channel. I don't know how long I've been watching you? One of the best things you have done for me was to get me to read Winter Solstice by Rosamund Pilcher. One of the best books I have ever read! I know I told you how I found it at the "library store" for 25¢. Today, I found her hardback " Summer" for 25¢! ( W.S. was hardback also. I am collecting her bks. and had already bought Summer, but it is paperback. I bought my first 2 Barbara Pym bks. from Amazon, they arrived yesterday! Can you tell me briefly what Mistborn is about and the author? I just finished Dear Mrs. Bird this morn. I ate that book up. Used to have a copy of it, but somehow lost it or someone didn't return to me. I always write down who borrowed what now. Well Gina, this was lovely and I count you as a friend!🤗 Thank you!

Mistborn is a fantasy book about a rag-tag group of thieves that are trying to save the world. It’s first in a series by Brandon Sanderson. I really loved it but it’s nothing like my “typical” cozy read - not at all. I’m so happy every time you say how much you loved Winter Solstice. I love it so so much It’s the perfect cozy read, isn’t it. Eileen, thanks so much for being here and always leaving such nice comments. You are definitely one of the booktube friends I was talking about! 💕❤️

Hi, Gina. Funny, I started out watching some of those BookTubers too. Sadly, I moved on because they became too political/ideological for me. I enjoy all the BookTubers I'm subscribed to now; I think you just really enjoy reading and love your book collections ❤️

I love that you don't script or really edit your videos. It helps to keep them authentic and so enjoyable, I think!

I also do very minimal editing. Mostly I edit out bits where I messed up or lost my voice and had to redo that segment, or where I had to do things like change the angle or am taking a few minutes to open a package. Most of the rest of my editing consists of adding in photos and text. Then again, I'm an out of touch dinosaur over forty.

Your recommendation for the Thrush Green series started me on my Miss Read journey. Now it’s part of my bedtime reading and I’m in book 6 of the series (Gossip from Thrush Green). I also found The White Robin today! I have been fortunate to find quite a number of The Miss Read books over the past year. They make me feel so peaceful. I’ve gotten many wonderful recommendations from you, but wanted to mention these, since they’re a nightly habit for me now.

I remember finding your channel at the end of covid. What a breath of fresh air! I think about starting a channel, but need to get thru my son's high-school graduation first. Then I will start thinking about it more. Really enjoying your channel!
