It was a great movie. By the way there was no chance gunnar was going to get placebo. He was too important to the funding.

He had the same 50/50 as everyone else. It was a double blind placebo controlled trial. The people allocating the drug or placebo didn't know who was getting what and the people giving the drug or placebo didn't know which was which. Saying things like that devalues the science.

@Jilly_Neutron perhaps. I'm not sure how they are randomized now. Back when I was working at a university those undergrad always had some system for randomizing, but if they recognized the subject means existed for the technician get the subject into whatever group they wanted. I will say however I never worked on something as big as a large drug trial.
