Met Clifton Collins Jr tonight at my theater. Came in to do a Q&A for his newest film. I tried to casually mention my Boondock Saints 2 dvd copy I had in the cabinet and asked him if it would be ok if he could sign it. He said right away, of course, absolutely. actually, there was no triangle involved there. in fact, there was no pressure being applied to the big guy's neck at all. i triangle choke would be if Romeo was on his back and the big guy trying to bear down on him, one of Romeo's legs would be draped over the back of the big guy's neck, Romeo's other leg draped around his ankle and pulling on the back of the big guy's head and squeezing his legs as tight as possible to push the big guy's arm against the side of his own neck while Romeo's other leg presses against the other side of the big guy's neck. this would compress both carotid arteries in the big guy's neck and make him pass out very quickly. the only move involved here was an armbar, no pressure being applied to the big guy's neck. only explanation i can think of why the big guy was unconscious was because he couldnt handle the pain or something.
