Bob Ross was a drill sergeant in the US Air Force. He served for 20 years before his show. He said he vowed to never scream again. Hence his calm demeanor.

The ‘comic strip with the talking Penguin’ was Bloom County, not to be confused with Doonesbury. Bob Ross and his ‘Happy Little Accidents’. 😂 Why does he talk so calm…to reduce his own stress levels. They used that explanation for the Simpsons episode where Michael Jackson guest starred and his voice was coming out of a huge white guy 😂

Yep, apparently when his show started it barely had any money. Bob decided to get his hair cut once a year to help. But kept it grown out because it became his signature look. Talk about happy little accidents.

it is somewhat of a puzzle who the wedding couple in the painting. either it is granddad and his wife or riley's deceased parents. but most of the clues are pointing towards it being granddad and his wife. photos are black and white, in that moment camera focuses on granddad's emotions. if that was in fact riley's parents, i think huey could have had same kind of emotions granddad had.
