Gameplay is fun for a first playthrough sucks on following playthroughs. No enemy variety which is insane bc the first game in the series had better variety than this game. The loot system was ruined legendaries are junk and rarely ever good and they have no other rarities when borderlands 2 had like 5 that were way more rare than legendaries. Which is funny too bc they added a new rarity to bl2 to promote this game with the commander Lilith dlc and this game doesn't even have that rarity. Boss fights almost always have invincibility phases which RUINS the fun of the fights like genuinely it's so unfun to fight bosses that just go invulnerable for no reason when past games handled second and third phases much better. Why anyone thought that was a good idea I'll never know but they also thought this story was a good idea so Idk what i I'm expecting. Elements were removed for some reason even tho slag was a major factor to bl2s story and it's never explained why it just disappeared like the rarities. And second playthroughs were ruined bc uvhm was removed in favor of mayhem mode and tvhm isn't really fun in the first place for many of the reasons already listed above. Plus they don't even change the appearance or name of the enemies for tvhm which was such a cool feature for the previous titles that made you want to replay it bc they also had better chances to drop good loot. Edit: They also just make enemies complete sponges for the mayhem levels which was kind of the case for bl2 but if you knew how to play and had decent gear it didn't matter because you'd get better weapons as you played to make the run easier. Even with max level mayhem legendaries a basic enemy takes forever to kill and that's if you're lucky enough to not die to the five hundred others with x10 damage.

You know when it comes to borderlands three it’s kind of insane that the game feels nostalgic to me now even though it only released five years ago, but I still remember being in eighth grade and picking it up from GameStop on launch day with my mom and then setting it to install, and I still remember the sheer amount of excitement I had whenever I got home after school that day to bet on my PS4 to play it after waiting in anticipation all day in school,kind of weird to think about this game is now and how old those memories are I have it because if I’m going to be honest, borderlands three ended up being one of my favorite games, I can’t say my absolute favorite but it’s definitely top 10 for me, sure it may not be perfect, but it was definitely great and it was one of the first games I got a platinum for, so aside from some things being repetitive and grinding overall with the DLC’s included I would give the game easy 9.5 out of 10. But I will say this I was extremely excited to see that the PlayStation 4 and five versions of borderlands three became free for PlayStation plus last month because even though I had the PlayStation five version for free because I had the PS4 disc, I just never got around to downloading it so I was able to go do the whole thing over again and with friends this time who were new to the game, so with friends, I would easily say borderlands three goes from a 9.5 out of 10 solo to a 11 out of 10 with friends.

You should probably do inFamous 2 asap, as that game has online trophies. Its specifically about playing user genereted missions, so not playing against other people. I got all those trophies like 2 months ago and it worked perfectly fine (some missions even help you cheese to get all the collectibles in the game and give you max-level/exp). But, since the game is a 14 year old ps3 game, I fear the servers could be shut down at any moment.
