I've been a Celtic fan for along time and I feel this team was build and drafted to play against teams like GSW. We have size and better defenders at every position but they have much better shooters and better offense. Still I feel Celtics have a chance only if Rob william and marcus smart are healthy enough to play every game - which will be needed unlike the past 2 series where they missed multiple games.

Frs I’ve been since 2010 when I was 5 bc my tia was a Celtics fan, and I feel like we match up very well against GS and everyone saying GS gonna win in 5 or 6 is laughable especially when we have the best record against them since 2015 😭😭😭

@@Kzmotivo best team? They were the 13th seed at one point. Everyone thought their dynasty was over. Even after then second half of the season people thought the C’s were STILL gonna lose to the nets as the 2 seed. So saying this isn’t shocking is like predicting Pheonix would be down by 50 to the mavericks and lose in the 2nd round. Scratch that, its like predicting the 2004 Pistons would beat Kobe, Shaq, and the Lakers in a 4 - 0 sweep in the finals, even with Ben Wallace injured for 2 games. Nobody thought they had a chance at winning, even as the 2 seed. Till this day, even though they beat the defending champs and the #1 team in the east, almost 40% of people I saw were saying warriors in 4 or 5. Casual take.

For Celtics to beat Warriors they need to win 4 times. That's a little impossible. At most they can win is 2 Game 1: Warriors 109 Celtic 107 Game 2: Celtics 119 Warriors 110 OT Game 3: Warriors 102 Celtics 101 Game 4: Celtics 108 Warriors 104 Game 5: Warriors 112 Celtics 100 Game 6: Warriors 106 Celtics 104 (Celtics first postseason back-to-back loss)

Only easier 3 pointers GSW will get is in transition and of turnovers. Running their offense they will have a hard time switching between JT, JB, and Marcus smart. If they drive it Horford and Rob williams will block everything beside a reverse layup. Not saying GSW cant win bc they are amazing but If they do win its not going to be a quick series, its going to be a 6-7 game series at best. Ulimately warriors will throw the kitchen sink at JT and celtics will do the same to Curry, so the role players and health will decide who wins the chip
