Because you already have a pair if18" sub and also a pair of 12" top, if you need to add to these speakers, I would recommend the box pro DSP 112. If you however feel you may need more "sound output", you could push and get the DSP 115. In summary, both the 112 & 115 would serve their purpose

Hi. thank for the video. What do you think in comparison with a berhinger dr112 dsp? Would you prefer this the box pro or the berhinger?
@DjBlinkBlink4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your feedback about my video. I really appreciate it. So I have not listened to the Behringer DR 112dsp, however my investigation revealed both the Behringer and the Box have the same SPL and the same peak watt. Now out of the 2 speakers, only 'the box' has revealed the RMS (currently shown as 300 W RMS). Typically, Behringer has not revealed the RMS for their speaker. Based on this, I would go with what I trust and the company that revealed the RMS for their speaker. Therefore, I would choose The Box Pro DSP 112. Cheers, DJ Blink-Blink
@adgm114 жыл бұрын
@@DjBlinkBlink ok thanks. So we can not deduce the rms having the peak? I realised that rms its often half the peak right? But in the case of the THE BOX PRO 112dsp it seems that is different because the rms is lower : 300rms and 1200peak. So can't we say that the behringer dr112dsp should be Around 300rms like the the box pro?

@@adgm11 You have confirmed my suspicious about Behringer partially with your reply. Hi mate. Putting into consideration the speakers and subs you currently have, if you are still thinking of getting 12 inch tops, I would advise either the Behringer B112D (£148) or the Box Pro DSP 112 (£190). Personally, I would go for the "box pro DSP 112" cos you they do carry some extra punch than the Behringer B112D unless your budget is lesser than the £200 mark. Now let me throw you a curve ball. If you really need some extra "headroom" for your events and basically want more "loudness" or "volume", then I would advise you get 15 inch tops to add to your current set up. Cheers, DJ Blink-Blink

Hello Nikos. Two of The Box Pro and one Behringer would not be enough for 200 guests cos you would not have enough headroom and power even though you are indoors. Is one enough or two, idc about stereo. Should i buy a subwoofer, or should i only rent a sub for the bigger partys? Sorry for bad english, i‘m from germany.
@DjBlinkBlink5 жыл бұрын
Hello Marius, I can recommend this speaker for any party. One speaker is more than enough for 8 people. And if you would be Djing for about 30 people and above, you can buy 2 speakers. As per subwoofers, you only need this for the "low end frequencies" in your music. For small parties, you really don't need a subwoofer. My personal advise is to only buy a subwoofer if you would be DJing for more than 100 guests. You can have a look at the Behringer ranges when you decide to buy a subwoofer. You can watch the review about my 18" Behringer subwoofer here kzbin.info/www/bejne/mV7MZZafrN96ra8 If you do have any more questions, feel free to ask them below. I also translated my reply to German for you. These speakers from thomann are aimed for the DJ at heart. For singers, professional vocalists or bands I feel they would clip far too early and the drivers would soon fail. If you take a look at the PDF specs from thomann.de you'll find the tweeter (horn) is only 50watt RMS. The total RMS of the cab are around 200-250 watt. In total. I think this is why they apparently clip quite early. But if you require cheap n cheerful and don't overdrive them they may be a bargain. Remember you get what you pay for ! In the end.
