Ike is not a legend in the ring. He beat up a blown up 168 guy and another overrated guy that couldn't box. That's his claims to fame. I'm going to leave his personal stuff out because it's his choices and his life.

Ike beat 2 good and solid HWs who were the most avoided contenders at that time, no one wanted tua after he had knocked out john ruiz and byrd had an unusual slick style that many couldn't get through so Ike was a top notch HW and rightly was named as the most dangerous man in boxing by the prestigious ring magazine in 1999 you need to research more, you don't know enough about this guy
