The only thing messed up about this movie is the fact that the grandmother donated her home and all of her property to the church, rather than leaving it to her grandson. I hate how much of a grift religion is, and how many elderly people think they're buying their way into heaven by doing shit like this. My mom barely made $900.00 a month on Social Security, but still insisted on donating 10% of her income to televangelists. Never mind the fact that they're worth tens of millions of dollars.

People are so upsetting to me. Children need unconditional love during their growth so they can find out who they are. People keep saying that the kid is weird for being feminine, but he isn't weird, he is just being judged by people who don't know how to love. If you think he is weird then you haven't learned enough about life. To be a good person you have to respect the fact that people grow differently. Never try to rob someone of happiness. Happiness is a rarity that never lasts long enough, don't make it be cut short just because you can't find happiness in the same way. Find happiness in the fact that you didn't make things worse for anyone

I don't know what state this story takes place in, but I'm surprised child services didn't get involved sooner. Also for the option of placing in orphanage is weird as I've never seen that as an option, again not sure if it's the state. First option is looking for other relatives/family friends, then foster home, and finally a group home.
