I feel like the "Jitter bug" (great name for it) happens in response to excessive stimulus of the game, like if theres a whole lot of shit happening right next to you and you're pressing a bunch of controls and playing super quick to stay alive then your avatar starts spazzing the fuck out. I always notice it happens when there's just a lot of gnarly shit going on and my heart is racing and I'm trying super hard not to die
