Yeah I just knew Butcher had something to do with it by looking at his face. Now I can see people perspective more on why they didn’t like season 2 of TWD that much as it’s similar to taking forever to get interesting. because these last two episodes were BY FAR the best.

My theory is that Joe Kessler (just like Becca) died a while ago and isn’t really there. I believe that Joe is like the devil on his shoulder while Becca is the angel on his other shoulder.

@@KRSBOOM I mean if you look at the stuff he’s done when Becca is around (like choosing not to send Neuman the files) and the stuff he’s done with Joe (like Sameer and making those cookies for Ryan.) it seems pretty obvious what the point of those two characters are.

Same. Kessler mentioned Butcher saving him in some kind of combat. I think he was actually killed back then and Butcher’s just carried the guilt of not being able to save him.

Regarding the tittle i look it up and apparently the verse comes from an old poem. About a boy that embarks on an adventure, defeats the Jabberwock, and comes back to his home feeling victorious and being greeted by his dad. At the end the first and last stanza repeats itself meaning that although the boy was triumphant something else evil may come later. And i think that can be applied to what happened to Hughie this ep, he thought his dad was cured but it ended up getting a lot worse 🥲. Btw what happened to Hughie's dad reminds me of what happened to Ramona in ahs but ten times sadder. Great ep

The whole plot line with Hugh Sr. this episode reminds me a lot of a sci-fi version of Pet Sematary. Bringing back your lost loved one because you can’t let them go, just for them to come back as a monster.

I'm no virologist, but I was wondering about that virus. If dosing that guy was enough for his blood to infect all of those animals when they ate him. Why couldn't they have taken a vial of his blood before sending him out or a vial of one of the animals blood afterwards?
