Those familiar with Supernatural should have also caught the callback/similarities to SPN and John Winchester's character during JDM's convos with Butcher. The lines about raising his boy to be a killer and being proud he died a hero are exactly what John did with Dean and Sam raising them as hunters, and when he told Dean that he would have to kill Sam if necessary.

I feel like they’re dragging on Homelander’s character; I can’t imagine the satisfying ending to his character, due to how much he’s getting away with. Not to mention how nothing satisfies him, and he himself doesn’t seem to know what he wants. I just hope that Gen V S02 and S05 of The Boys will wrap things up decently.

So far this season has been trash. It's basically like if you told MSNBC or CNN to write all the storylines. The Trump Derangement Syndrome in the writing is just way too goofy for me.
