I support Club Brugge (Belgium) and we sing it too before every home game. It is that way since 1976 when we met Liverpool at Anfield for the UEFA Cup final. The english culture towards football has been the same the same for years and years ...have a drink and a laugh before the game...sing your hearts out for the team (especially if youre away from home)....finish the game, have another pint go home. The spurs fans created an atmosphere and had a good time as well in dortmund coz youll never have guessed...they spent hundreds of quid to be at the game so might as well of had a great time like they did. Stop having a go at the english and british culture coz theres nothing wrong with it.
