Marie took that blast like a champ, she’s stronger than I even thought, she might be a stronger Hemokinesis user than Neuman potentially, Neuman is obviously far more skilled than her at this stage but I always wondered why Neuman eyes turn white whenever she uses her powers & Maries don’t, makes you wonder if there is a slight difference there, maybe Marie drew the long straw in regards to that 🤷🏾‍♂️

Yes, homelander knows about most things, but generally he doesn't care enough to check in on side businesses vought has. He was only there because ashley called him in. Otherwise he wouldn't have bothered to notice.

Cate's powers are too scary for the general public, or for anyone. They can theoretically beat even homelander so i doubt anyone and especially homelander would want her in the seven. If it happenned homelander would propably be convinced into it and hate it. Sam just doesn't have unique powers and on top of unstable he is super gullible so he becomes a liabilty if they someone turns him against vought. Also he would be aquard in front of the camera.

What a great season. I was excited to see it from the start but unfortunately has trolls under my comments saying it wouldn’t be good. They were proven wrong. This was a great way to introduce these characters and I’m invested in where their story goes. So cool how they begin to show the potential of Marie’s powers. Special shout-out to Antony Starr’s phenomenal acting. His facial expressions continue to show how menacing Homelander is.

We saw Polarity's kid was already experiencing synaptic erasure when using his abilities in the last episode. It's possible he inherited a version of the effect that kicks-in at an even younger age. That, or Dre has used his powers WAY more at his age than his dad did at the equivalent point in his life. What they have, genetically, is basically an allergy or intolerance to V. Ironically, their initial high compatibility with the V cocktail is actually a long term death sentence for them.

Marie is definely ready to have some head poping classes with Neuman! I hope they manage to escape from the hole they were put in and Marie seeks out Neuman for help and they team up to take out Homelander. Or maybe they even join The boys! Marie absolutely killed this episode and i frigging hate homelander so much, marie was saving ashley and defending themselfs from the angry wood kids and homelander just gets there and blasts her because she blew up Cate's arms? Cate was the one that started the whole trouble in the first place and he turns she and sam into saviors? Come on! I kinda if Sam has redemption, it should be done with through Kimiko. Sam and Kimiko has similar backstory, powers, the late brother thing, the killer instincts, their killing styles, and the emotionally stunt minds. Sam appears to be the younger brother of the Riordans and while Kimiko is the older sister Miyashiros. If it takes supes to convince Sam to turn and another supe can bring Sam back. Especially when they're like Kimiko. Kenji is gone and Luke is gone. And I imagine they would be the perfect surrogate sister-brother duo.

I believe that Butcher will die at the hand of Homelander but when he kills him he does it up close...like a punch through his stomach or something of the sorts. When its all said and done, Butcher looks at Homelander with a painful expression but starts to grin maniaclly at Homelander. Butcher keeps smiling at him an then he tells him that he better put on the tea kettle, 'cause it looks like he'll catch a "cold". This is where we found out that Butcher had ingested the supes virus before having a battle with Homelander.

The layers of inversion in this are extraordinary. Sam as a radicalised victim 'who believes everything he's told' rather than the very obvious reverse correlation you could draw from the last three years of mind control and mass formation psychosis. Homelander and his alignment being the eptiome of reverse spin rather than the opposite camp, which is what the spin of this show reinforces. I'm an old guy now but when I was growing up I realised the world was an inversion,. Now I see that it's become an inversion reflecting itself, in other words an inversion of an inversion. It’s a stretch but the last episode can be all Cate pushing an illusion. She made her friends think she killed Shetty then cause the rampages, then made them think Homelander took them down so they can be locked up. It’s possible there was no carnage except whatever the 4 that got locked up did while they were under the illusion.

To me it doesn’t make sense how Vought tried to spin things. Literally the whole school knows that’s not true and probably hundreds of thousands who were watching on people’s socials. I understand Vought is supposed to be terrible and powerful but twisting this even seems like a stretch I thought it was way cooler when Marie used her powers to see Maverick than when she did the whole dagger thing, felt like we were gonna get a scene like that the whole show but her seeing Maverick while invisible felt more unique
