I actually like that Cecil worked to actively get Mark out of Atlantis in this iteration by missile striking that monster originally he had totally pimped him out to that fish and never did anything even though he kept saying he would. Cecil is still suspect but I think people can see his perspective on things a lot better.

The thing is, what happened between Rex and Kate was mostly just physical, like they didn't have the emotional connection that lovers do. (Spoilers ahead, do not read further unless you really want to.) Thing is, in the comics, Immortal and Kate actually get serious, and when Kate is killed by the Lizard League while Immortal is off-world, he actually mourns and cries for her when he returns back to earth.

I don’t think they do; it’s actually Allen (the one-eyed alien) that has that trait; and they only discovered it accidentally. Like, he almost dies (I think he got jumped by multiple Viltrumites and was left for dead), and once he recovers he’s visibly bigger and buffier.

Even if they are subtly soft retconning Amber’s behavior and pretending that she wasn’t horrible last season by making her act all lovey dovey, I still cannot forget how bad she was. She never even apologized! I can’t wait for their relationship to sour so he can get with Eve. I REALLY hope they don’t totally diverge from the comics and make Amber the main ultimate SO instead of Eve. I think ShapeSmith is closer to a Plastic Man parody than another Martian Manhunter because of how goofy he is and his costume in general. Also I like how they fixed Eve’s logo to look like _actual_ electron rings around the female symbol rather than an X.

Invincible is a show that gets progressively better with time and the thing is, this progress is not linear but seemingly exponential. I mean that the plot gets really, really juicy (The Invincible war, The Viltrumite war, the Robot War, etc.) I'm so hyped up for the next seasons already. If you haven't read the comics, you have absolutely no idea how good the future seasons will be if they keep up this production level.

Now that you mention it, drinking is not consistent for the hero’s. at first i thought Cap doesn’t get drunk because he’s a super human “super metabolism”, same with the Flash and others like that, but someone like Dr Strange and Atom Eve would still get drunk bc they are regular people (physically). But then there’s Thor.. he seems to be able to get drunk on Earth in Age of Ultron (unless he had his own supply), and other Asgardians like Loki and Sylvia seem to get drunk easily too. None of this matters but I thought I’d share.
