Concept is based on Battle Royale (Japanese action/thriller film) and a bit of Squid Game. It’s basically a game of survival. They were trying to kill each other. For instance, The rapper (Sunwoo) and the blonde vocalist (Kevin) were having an intense conversation and Kevin pulled off the pin of a hand grenade, so they both died. Same with the other 2 guys fighting (Juyeon & Hyunjae), they were trapped in a room and someone else (Sangyeon) released some kind of gas (probably poisoned) and killed them. They were all out to kill each other. Eventually, only one survives at the end (Eric). Thanks for reacting to The Boyz. You should check out all their other performances on Road to Kingdom and Kingdom, both are competition programs. Their performances are always top-notch. Hardworking Boyz, indeed.

the music video was based on a Japanese film from the 2000s called Battle Royale its where a bunch of kids were drugged on the way to school and then were sent to an abandoned island and the only way to escape is to be the last one alive. the collars around the necks blew up if more then one person was alive after three days or if you broke a rule e.g. trying to escape a different way. so they pretty much had to fight all of there friends until they died which is why you could see chanhee crying
