People complaining that some of them look bad for their age. You can't control how you age physically. Atleast they're healthy and doing fine, that's really what matters.
@AlfredHawthornBennyHill5 жыл бұрын
While there are people who don't age well naturally and some of it is genetics as well as environment, you kind of can control how you age by taking care of yourself. Not drinking, not smoking, not taking hardcore drugs, don't over work or have a job that pushes you to your limits and beyond, eating right, controlling your blood pressure and weight. Drinking and smoking if done for a long period of time, will make you look a lot older and sometimes haggard. Avoid stress because stress also makes you look much older. Avoid wearing heavy make up, exercise if you can, don't stay in the sun for long periods of time, it drys out your skin and gives you spots and wrinkles it a lot too. There's a lot you can do to not look terrible or much older then you are.
@hutch11975 жыл бұрын
@@AlfredHawthornBennyHill All true, but sometimes genetics overpower all other factors. Maureen McCormick is the second oldest and went through the worst drinking/drug problems of any of them, and she still has aged better than the younger cast members. I know plenty of people who lived a life of healthy eating and exercise but still look older and more tired than other people their age who put their bodies through much unhealthier practices. Although I totally agree with your advice, sometimes genetics will take the wheel and make the final decision.

Eve is correct that Melanie Hutsell's SNL parody of Jan is what popularized that catchphrase in the '90s. This was Melanie's signature line that she used in every appearance. Melanie's parody really struck a chord at that time and probably had a lot to do with Hollywood deciding to make the parody-style Brady Bunch feature film.

I respect Eve For appearing in the interview. It must not be easy. I think she's accepted the fact that she will be remembered as Jan and also must realize she gets so much negative feedback from people for not talking and appearing in reunion interviews. This project must be very special to her, especially getting on in years. Probably realizing how fast time is passing by and 3 actors are now gone. You can still feel she's not comfortabe being there. Some like to remember the past to themselves. She's such a sweet lady who now resides in NYC and has done some fun Bway productions. She's got a creative side to her as a painter and photographing her life in NYC. I grew up watching the original BB on ABC 1969-74 with my siblings. And watch every thing BB afterwards. I hope Eve and Maureen have took baby steps to mend their friendship. Life is so fleeting and these 6 BB actors were a huge part of my life. Can't wait to see the BB house.

Melinda Burge well she IS in her sixties, what do you expect. Besides I was referring to the contrast of how she looked a few years back when she was struggling with her weight and other issues.

@@PassionGrows Dude, why so defensive? I wasn't having a shot at you. If i can look as good as her at that age, I'll be lucky!! Have a sunshine-y day!!!! :D

Melinda Burge Ha ha ha , you call that being defensive? I’m puzzled 🤔 . Lol, you commented and I replied to your comment, nothing defensive about it dude 😂🤣

I remember in one episode, when they were cleaning out the attic, they found a photo of a young Aunt Jenny ( Imogen Coca ) who looked like Jan at the same age. Jan ended up looking nothing like her Aunt after all.🙂 I'm waiting for an interviewer to bring it up in one of their reunions.

I'll be he was nice and personable. Even though he was really good-looking back in the day, he also always seems to be down-to-earth, friendly, and personable.

Yeah, but They should make it like more adult comedy instead of like a tacky kids show.

Well, this is utterly surreal!!! I was born in the mid seventies and grew up here in Australia. This really was a staple of my childhood. This is not helping me cope with the ageing prices whatsoever 😂☺️😂 Really fantastic blast from the past . It was a classic wholesome show admittedly. Still a bit taken aback by a few things but we can’t help the way we age. Great to see them all together 😊
