People complaining that some of them look bad for their age. You can't control how you age physically. Atleast they're healthy and doing fine, that's really what matters.
@AlfredHawthornBennyHill
@AlfredHawthornBennyHill 5 жыл бұрын
While there are people who don't age well naturally and some of it is genetics as well as environment, you kind of can control how you age by taking care of yourself. Not drinking, not smoking, not taking hardcore drugs, don't over work or have a job that pushes you to your limits and beyond, eating right, controlling your blood pressure and weight. Drinking and smoking if done for a long period of time, will make you look a lot older and sometimes haggard. Avoid stress because stress also makes you look much older. Avoid wearing heavy make up, exercise if you can, don't stay in the sun for long periods of time, it drys out your skin and gives you spots and wrinkles it a lot too. There's a lot you can do to not look terrible or much older then you are.
@hutch1197
@hutch1197 5 жыл бұрын
@@AlfredHawthornBennyHill All true, but sometimes genetics overpower all other factors. Maureen McCormick is the second oldest and went through the worst drinking/drug problems of any of them, and she still has aged better than the younger cast members. I know plenty of people who lived a life of healthy eating and exercise but still look older and more tired than other people their age who put their bodies through much unhealthier practices. Although I totally agree with your advice, sometimes genetics will take the wheel and make the final decision.

I grew up with the show, and my kids watched it for the first time around 2003, nearly 40 years after it ended. They both cried because they didn't want it to end. My daughter is now 22 and still has a poster of the Brady Bunch on her bedroom wall. That's how much an impact the show had.

I respect Eve For appearing in the interview. It must not be easy. I think she's accepted the fact that she will be remembered as Jan and also must realize she gets so much negative feedback from people for not talking and appearing in reunion interviews. This project must be very special to her, especially getting on in years. Probably realizing how fast time is passing by and 3 actors are now gone. You can still feel she's not comfortabe being there. Some like to remember the past to themselves. She's such a sweet lady who now resides in NYC and has done some fun Bway productions. She's got a creative side to her as a painter and photographing her life in NYC. I grew up watching the original BB on ABC 1969-74 with my siblings. And watch every thing BB afterwards. I hope Eve and Maureen have took baby steps to mend their friendship. Life is so fleeting and these 6 BB actors were a huge part of my life. Can't wait to see the BB house.

Eve is correct that Melanie Hutsell's SNL parody of Jan is what popularized that catchphrase in the '90s. This was Melanie's signature line that she used in every appearance. Chris Knight looks the best, he can still pass for 40 something and maybe even late 30’s with some makeup. Who would have thought? Watching reruns with my kids and Florence was definitely the cutest followed by Maureen. Not that any of them are bad looking, but they just joined the rest of us. Robert Reed did a great job. He truly was America’s Dad. I understand he was frustrated with the role and his lifestyle was a challenge, but in his passing I hope he saw how many lives he touched so positively with his passion in every performance.
