My dad used to do this when i was little he would style my hair into braids, pig tails, pony tail using clips and straighten my hair and more , just so i could go out, plus he would detangle my hair and he really liked doing it, i miss those days

She is adorable. How lucky they are to have each other. Most men, sad to say, just walk away from hard things in which they have no interest, which is basically everything kid-related or girl-related. Interestingly enough, the top search engine topic is: How to tie a tie?

As a non parent guy I concur. My little cousin asked me to braid her hair. And it was rough. You don't want pull too hard. You want to be gentle. That's what makes it difficult. But with her instructions I did it. I had done braids before but not on hair.

my dad tried to do my hair a few times. he only knew one style which was a high ponytail on the top of my head. it never looked great, but i didn't complain because i knew he was trying.

My own father is starting to style my hair, but he doesn't braid it. And my mom is still with us, and she always goes when she sees my hair, "I'll fix it Dara." And she has to step up sometimes and fix it! Lol! I'm a lot older than this little girl, I'm in my thirties and a college student, so I've long outgrown braids since I've gotten older, but I wear them occasionally. It's great that they have classes for single dads learning to braid their daughter's hair; they should have it for single moms too.

My friend brought his daughter to me once in a panic before attending an event to style his daughter's hair, which I did. This would've been good for him, although I think his mouth was the reason mommy made him do her hair instead. I don't think he ever said anything else bad about the Mother's skills again lol.
