Thanks for the review Tommy! And glad you enjoyed it - in terms of quality Phil has again knocked it out of the park, it is actually pretty much EYEPOP quality at half the price. In terms of the process for clarity, it's mostly the same as our EYEPOP releases we've just done a little less rotoscope work and considerably less of the fancy add-ons and negligible marketing, but as you'll have seen for the final product it really doesn't show - and oh man the hair... it's the compromise we have to accept that makes it possible to produce these without the Marvel level 5 Million dollar conversion budgets. We're really on the look out for more films that only feature Telly Savalas... ;) Thanks again!

Love the Telly comment. If you ever feel my reviews are too long feel free to edit them for your web site. Cheers!

I think the Marvel conversions only cost somewhere from $2 to $4 million. But yeah, you guys do impressive work. Not on par with The Marvels nor Deadpool and Wolverine, but not too far off.

@@Shahaneh 😊. It would be nice to even get 10% of a Marvel conversion budget!

I got my shipment a few days ago so I'm sure most people who initially ordered then did. I haven't seen this one yet but plan on it soon!

Glad you enjoyed the 3D *and* the movie! It's a pretty bonkers film but there is a high entertainment factor if you don't take it too seriously. From a historical perspective it's also an interesting time capsule from the era.

Great review as always! My only question is, does Eyepop and PlanD do anything other than horror movies? I just can't stomach horror movies but would love to see some older 3D movies. Thanks!
@Phil3D-youtube6 ай бұрын
I'd say this film is pretty borderline mild horror, even for the era (I personally am not a horror movie fan either). That said you may want to check out Andrew's "Conversion Curiosities" disc which is also available on the Plan D site. My next Plan D release is also right around the corner and it is *not* a horror movie.

3D does extreme anti-aliasing, so thats why you can view any angle. I hope you will review Deadpool and Wolverine 3D Blu-ray when it comes out. Did you review The Marvels?
@TommyBoy3D6 ай бұрын
I did review some of them yes. Thanks!

@@TommyBoy3D I was talking about Captain Marvel 2. It's called The Marvels.

Are you going to see Deadpool & Wolverine in 3D? My out of the theater first impression it's not mind blowing but certainly some fun moments that make the action set pieces feel more grand.
@TommyBoy3D6 ай бұрын
I probably will not. Thanks for your feedback though. I appreciate it. 🙂

Say Tommy boy, I like your AI pop 3D old movie conversion stuff I really do but I've got a bunch of much newer movies that are really good if you'd like to hear them. First we have the X-Men movies there are three of them that are filmed in 3D that are really good called Wolverine, X-Men Days of Future Past and X-Men apocalypse if you would like to watch them and review them. There's also Batman versus Superman and justice league and Shazam from the DC Universe that I don't think you've reviewed yet but they're really good movies and really good 3D. Anyway I've got a lot more if you would like to hear about them other than that I mean you do great work I like your old stuff that you're reviewing but I have a lot of new stuff if you would like to hear it write it down and maybe review it? Anyway keep up the Great work!

You were supposed to review the 3d but you left out the most important part. THE POP OUTS! Not even a mention. All 3d movies have depth but unfortunately not all have pop outs.

Yikes! Your right. Sorry about that. You can rest assured though. If I don’t mention it. They are not there because I love them. Thanks for watching and thanks for the comments. 😊

YOU failed to mention that this is a BURNT disc!!!! NOT professionally manufactured! This disc won't last nearly as long as regular blu ray discs. I wasted good money on your recommendation:(
@TommyBoy3D6 ай бұрын
I do not know the difference. It is darker than must DVD's. Is that what you are talking about? What do you mean by "won't last nearly as long"? Are you saying it will deteriorate over time? Will not play at all down the road? Educate us and Thanks for the info.
@tgrujic19656 ай бұрын
@@TommyBoy3D Yes if you ever bought a bootleg movie this is what they look like. Proper manufacturing puts a protective layer over the data, but these have no such thing. Bootlegs/burnt discs are VERY vulnerable to scratches and yes they will deteriorate over time.
