Everyone who used mods, mostly the furniture, upright freezers pallets, their game will be broken. At first only they will be gone but if you place any new furniture & put stuff on them, the next time you log in everything will be gone. & it will continue to disappear every time you log in. In their discord we were all talking about it & the only way around it is the make a new game, go in to the save file, into the notepad & change the money, store lvl, number of checkouts to be over 3,000 so you have all cashiers & then stare to put everything in again.

@@tpgamingx12 Most of the mods I used still work fine (about 15), the ONLY one I had, that 'hid' everything, was Upright Freezer, removed that, and my store returned to normal. (I wasn't using those freezers yet, so you'd lose what was on them).

That's good then, going to have a play around with my supermarket today and see what I can do anyway. And test out what works and doesn't. With the new shelving that's available might be nice to do a full redesign anyway.

@@TrueDeviL i think it was the pallets that did it for me as i removed the mods but every time i loaded in everything disappeared. In a way now I'm happy about it as i don't have to sell all my old shelving to get new ones. I need magic restocker back though miss that mod & the auto price one.

@@Angel_Of_Horror I believe the auto-price updater still works, I mean I'm using it and it didn't crash.. (I'll have to check if it is actually setting the prices correct), I was using modded in my YT series also, so I hope some get updated soon.

Sorry to hear about your accident. Hope you are doing better now. Yeah i've noticed a few console versions popping up lately. Different developers than the original one but they seem to work the same way. It's fun once you get on top of it, i've really enjoyed making my series on it.

It's not the same game, the console supermarket simulators are all made by different developers.

Yeah, so on nexus mods you can search by updated or you'll see it will say updated on it's thumbnail. So go on it and download the latest version, then just replace it in the folder. You don't usually need to worry about config or anything just the main mod itself.

That should still be fine as before. I doubt that will need updating. It will just be some of the mods. Some of them do still work though.

I fixed the mods I wanted working. I just deleted everything to do with mods and started over

That's brilliant news, i've started over as well but edited my save file so the money and store level will be where they were at the end of the last video in the series. It will just be a case of designing a new store with the new shelving and customisation options.

How do you have two saves when you can only have one save.

I use the better save mod, allows you to have multiple saves. And it changes the main menu to load them. If you go to my 21 mods video, I showcase it at the end of that video. You can also just go to the file location where the save is stored on your computer and store it in another folder while you do another save and if you want to switch back by swapping them over. But the mod is much cleaner and easier to use saves the effort.

I fully understand I use mods at my own risk. And accept that when a game update happens it may break my save that's fair enough. I don't believe it's cheating as I generally only used mods that improved quality of life and kept my youTube series entertaining for my audience. I was still grinding away for the money and the store points as intended.

I fully accept mod use comes with risks, so when the game updates that's fair enough. I don't believe using a few quality of life mods to help with my KZbin series to be cheating though.
