So basically they're distant cousins, can be watched separately without any knowledge of the other series (although watching Braves and trying to spot all the repurposed Transformers is pretty fun), and their continuities are independent. You not wrong.... i remember how back when i was a kid, my first magical girl anime that i watch (i dont remember the show name...) the main character, a little girl keep getting kidnap by evil trio that in order to keep her save, her granmother summon magical doll that transform into magical girl. Sure, by the sound of it sound like a cliche old story, like how the MC have a crush over a boy who like way older then her but the part that make feel weird of back when i was a kid is how the MC keep getting kidnap in weird and terrible situation and somehow always end up fainting and dont remember what happen.....
