The breeding season is OVER ! Time to make some CHANGES !!!

The finch breeding season is over but the work is just beginning. All the cages and nest need to be cleaned and and put into storange to make room for some of the new changes coming to the bird room.

Hello Rancel! when you have many pairs of birds to work with, this hobby becomes extremely tiring... I had much less than you but I felt that I was outdone and gave up half of the birds and cages... good luck in the future! 👍👍👍

Greetings David thankyou, It took me 2 weekends to pressure wash all the cages and clean the room, but still not done. I have all the nest I have to clean and a couple more things before im done.

It all depends how dirty they get. With the finches ive usually never had to clean them more then 1-2x per season.

I combined the cages to make 4ft long flights for the smaller parakeet species and then the finches breed in 24in long cages
