Am 66 years old and thought Queen was one of the best bands ever. Freddie Mercury could have sung anything. Brian May is instantly recognizable. Roger and Brian took a step back to let Freddie shine and shine he did.

Considering the shows Queen has played since Fred was dead, (Tribute w/Daltrey and Plant et al and tours with Paul Rodgers and solo Brian May band here) it is VERY apparent that Fred was a VERY overrated front man/singer all along and it was 100% BECAUSE he was a flagrantly flamboyant gay that was played to the hilt for publicity.
