Having carried the 3 bladed stockman pattern in one form or another for years I do like multi bladed knives. That being said, I did not have to use one as part of my job day in and day out so I can see where the sheepsfoot might be bothersome during hard use. Just a point of clarification - their holston river surgeon was a prior 2 bladed traditional. This makes me hope they'll do a whittler pattern

I like the Cigar pattern and definitely like the bone colour on this model, like you I prefer single blade knives but this is one two blade I could live with. the quality still high so well done RoseCraft I think one of their seconds would be a steal, good review fair and honest as usual. 😁

I bought two of the seconds and I was not disappointed. One I couldn’t even tell where the blemish was. The other was a mechanical issue The one blade had a soft half stop. And I’m going to flush the pivot to see if I can get a better snap. Other than that it is well constructed. The Holston River that I have is a two bladed knife.
