Pro tip- if you take a grinder with a diamond blade and quickly run it down the corner edges of the bluestone before you start, that will give a slightly chamfered corner which will thermal out much nicer, won’t leave those unfinished bits all along the edges.

Wrong. Oxy + Propane burns plenty hot enough. I did this for a living everyday for two years and thats what we used and we processed dozens of tons of material per week.

I agree - I have a small propane bottle i use for burning., works fine, have to be very careful of flying chips (especially with crystals and slates) they can be VERY hot. I know this from experience
