Thank you guys so much for all the support I didnt expect this much positivity. Let me know if yall want me to make more content similar to this! I made this video to display the history of the Crystal WR up from the very first WR (what I personally think is the first world record) up until the most optimized WR (pre 12/13/2023 wumpy nerf) which used the modified slower version of the fence route. I also made video to celebrate the memories I made with Spwb and all the others I played with. I understand new records will arise in the future and there will be others after me to surpass the record so I feel as though this video is a good bullet point representing the routes of the crystal WR.

I've wanted to share a glitch for a really long time, and just haven't found the right place to do it, but It got me a 3 second time on crystal, which is technically world record, but since it's a glitch I don't count it. It's called a pipe warp and is pretty close to frame perfect, so I'd recommend not trying it lightheartedly, but you basically enter the animation of climbing a pipe, and reset from checkpoint during the animation start up. It will then put you on the pipe with the timer reset. Thus skipping almost all of the time trial. It will most definitely be fixed soon but it's very special to me.

the movement balancing kind of killed off some playerbase, friends i used to see playing reborn all the time just started playing different games after the wumpy nerf, even though i know theyre trying to make it as realistic as possible, things like the grappler isnt at any shape or form realistic 💀 aint no way a little mechanism with just a rope and a hook can carry a human being at such speeds even lol

Think about it, a double wallrun isn't realistic either, same for teleporting, it's a GAME so you have to make it fun, they don't wanna make it realistic they want it MORE realistic. I do think the nerf is bad but i also think the first wumpy was a bit too op

i 100% agree with you, reborn just doesn't seem the same anymore. like it just feels to slow and meaningless, because wumpy was just a super fun mechanic that I loved to use and always used playing reborn, i understand the changes though. and hope they can change it in the future

reborn seems to be going for a playstyle thats slower speed but more consistent as where legacy was more extreme bursts of speed and glitchy tech and while i personally enjoy this playstyle its just not what most people want and reborn will probably always have less players then legacy in my opinion ofc its still in alpha but from the way it looks rn and the how people reacted to the wumpy nerf thats how i see the future of reborn
