I'm also in the middle of painting my striking scorpions right know. I just got back after a burnout, around 3/4 months ago I had the brilliant idea of building everything that was left in my pile of shame and it dried all my hobby-juices for a while.

if you dont want them to glow under UV standard rules apply but if you do want them to look like the goo from Ghostbusters all that can really be done is shading with a different colour of fluorescent

Add a glow in the dark paint to a transparent paint. That should make it shine under a black light. Maybe try doing your zenithal highlight over black with a glow in the dark white, then using contrast paints for the colours. I think that should work.

That is marked as my future hobby projects. Uv light, miniatures painted in florecent colors, a couple of full armies in this fashion to variable degrees in a nice color scheme.

The main problem of fluorescent paint you can spay them, but when you turn the fluo light on, you will see a surprise😅i mean a bunch of splashes, if you don't clean the nuzzle

When you are rich enough to waste ultra-overpriced GW miniatures. The average player have FEAR to paint his GW miniatures. Because if it goes wrong, he wasted 120$ or more.

Even if he messed up, the paint is easy to retouch or strip with alcohol and a toothbrush. GW isn't the only one selling models and paint.
