I learned to play this mechanically, from the tabs, but understanding it is so much better!

I read an interview a hundred years ago where Randy said that riff was a finger stretching/warmup exercise he used all the time and Ozzy heard it and wanted to write a song around it

You know damn well Ozzy didn’t write that! 😂 That has Randy’s DNA all over it.

Love the mention of the major and relative minor. I use D major solos in Along the Watchtower because it's the relative major of B minor! Thanks Marty

I saw Ozzy Diary tour at 10 yro (with Gilliis) & 4 more times after, but I can't stand this song!😅 Opening, bridge, & chorus riffs are bad as hell, but the lil chug-a-chug riff, that I guess is supposed to sound like a train that Ozzy sings over is weak af & ruins the whole song for me. Ozzy's "You Shook Me All Night Long" if you will.😅 I never, ever need to hear it again! 🤘🌎❤
