Damn this was amazing video. SAI is such a underrated album for what it did for the story, lore, and music.

Finally someone draws the correlation to 1984. For some reason, I observe many TOP fans are afraid of the idea that maybe they’re warning us through these metaphors. Maybe it hits too close to home? Everytime I bring this theory up they strike it down and discard it immediately…as if they’re programmed to dismiss it. Its intriguing to me. Great video. DEMA also sounds a lot like a certain agency…

Oh boy, I feel honoured to watch a video of this calibre. And genuinley it’s so real. As someone who didn’t vibe with SAI initially, and came to appreciate it later on, this is a beautiful video to see, cause it’s captures so much of what I think is valuable in SAI’s art

It is crazy that this album came out three years ago. I really liked this album immediately and didn't really know why. 2021 was a hard year for all, I spent 99 days in hospital, this album helped so much for me to endure and get through the dark times. Your video has helped me get a better sense of why I like this album rationally. Many things that I liked about it but didn't realise that I liked it for these reasons until they were fully explained by another.

50 years from now when people can rise out of the trees and see the forest (and they will, also pun intended) they’ll get SAI. Just like my generation did with Pink Floyd’s catalog after Dark Side. And yes, I’m actively and consciously comparing PF to Twenty One Pilots. Fight me.

I love SAI the music and the lyrics are so different to Trench. I love the style and the different story telling. My opinion, it is perfect as Trench but more secretly.

this is such a brilliant video and put so many of my thoughts into words. scaled and icy is my favorite album, and it saddens me to see SO many people that don't like it. (including tyler and josh themselves, it seems, "kinda wishin' that i never did saturday") i feel like so many people went into sai thinking that it would be like trench, and then heard the way it sounded and immediately wrote it off as a "sellout" or a "cash grab" album when it is so, SO much more than that. so many people couldn't listen past the happy sounds, and failed to miss the (quite obvious) dark and depressing things being said. this album can be representative of how easy it can be for others to hide their pains. to put on a happy face and act like nothing is wrong, while inside they are falling apart. if you read the lyrics to these songs, they're similar to so many other crowd favorites. people just write sai songs off because of how they are presented. just like how people tend to brush off the "happy" friends and their own mental struggles because of their happy presentation. the music video for the craving (single version) represents sai. in the music video, tyler and josh spend the entire time creating their objects. they put so much effort, care, and love into the items they're crafting. at the end of the video, their work is discredited and brushed off, making way for the next new creation. the bullet that tyler created was shot and missed. tyler thinks that sai was a "miss" as an album. this is so obviously mirroring scaled and icy and it's lack of recognition for what it is. so many people fail to see that tyler and josh put just as much love into sai as they did all of their other albums, brushing it off as their "radio song" album. scaled and icy is a masterpiece, story wise, visual wise, and music wise. so many people miss out on such an amazing album with some heart wrenching songs because of its "bright and cheery" demeanor. scaled and icy, you will always be my favorite. i'm sorry you never received the love you deserved. i'm sorry tyler and josh, your creation was a work of art that was so misunderstood that it never got the recognition it deserved.

All in all this was such a well done video, also starting at 41:27 that whole sequence watching it in a TV is so eerie and scary lol that was such a scary great well done part also the build up and punchline to No chances explanation part is such a great showing not telling part of explaining things, at that moment I was like “I got it” lol (even though it’s pretty in your face what it means)

this whole video is so perfectly executed, this is how videoessays should look like tbh, loved your insight on the album and the editing was amazing, thanks fo putting this video for me to find, especially that i've come to love sai long after it premiered and didnt give it as much attention as it should have gotten (especially when it comes to lore). I've loved twenty one pilots for years and sai was such a surprise album in correspondace to their previous works, like it's a polar oposit of trench or blurryface but it was standing so close with self titeled or rab, i didn't know what to think (still listened to it a bilion of times during pandemic) but hearing this fresh voice on it really makes me appreciate it even more and wholly, thanks so much

A month ago, we had a course to practice our presentation skills so we had to pick a topic to present. Of course I chose TØP and the lore of the albums. Your videos about each of their albums that I was watching before helped me a lot to gather the most important parts of the albums. The Sai vid didn’t come out that time due to your hard working ass but the previous ones helped me a hella lot so great thanks to you from Austria. I used other sources to finish my best and favorite presentation that the whole class enjoyed without thinking I‘m just a weirdo. Can’t wait for the final Clancy essay and I hope that your parents still won’t ask you what you‘re currently working on 🕊️💛
