The Brink of Extinction - End Boss TokHaar-Hok Guide!

This is the last boss in the quest Brink of Extinction, he is a boss that will summon waves of Range and Melee adds to come an assist him over time, your goal is to kill him before to many adds come out and prevent him from healing in the stream of lava!
Gear Setups:
1. Full DH while trying to keep low health
2. Basic Melee
Helmet: Helmet of Neitiznot
Necklace: Amulet of Fury / Glory
Cape: Soul Cape / Skill Cape
Body: Bandos Chestplate / Barrows equivalent
Legs: Bandos Tasset / Barrow equivalent
Boots: Dragon boots
Weapon: Chatoic Maul / God sword / Main hand weapon and Shield
3. Magic Setup (To stop movement of TokHaar-Hok)
Full Ganodermic armour using Ice Spells to prevent TokHaar-Hok from healing. Pray Melee and kill the Ranger as quick as possible using a substitute melee weapon.

I beat him about a month ago I used ice barrage this time lol took awhile though but i'm proudly wearing my quest point cape now :)

Also, if I may add, the best way to complete this quest is to use magic Ice Spells, prefferably Blitz or Barrage because they hit the hardest on the boss. If using this setup, make sure to kill the Tok Xil as soon as it spawns. Melee is actually the least effective setup.

If you have DH, I'd use that, but if you can use ice spells to freeze, then that would work quite well also.

What were your stats when you did this? I've been trying to mage him but the rangers keep KOing me, and melee armor should help with that.

DH has been amazing the entire time EOC has been out, It's stupid good with like mid - low hp.

Make sure you turn auto Retaliate off that way you dont follow him into the lava

i was using royal dragon hide helm of nezy ice barrage and korasi,SOL Stats: HP:95 Str:90 Att:88 Magic:99 Ranged 85 Prayer:82 Def:86

so far cant do it tried with dh got messed up 99 def 99 str 99 hp 96 att have died on him around 20 times or so

I've died about 150-200 times now. I can't stun him and most my fights involve him healing to full 3 times and me running out of resources. How can you make your stun more accurate? Using multiple different stuns doesnt help since every next stun you use he heals 9000 more.

thanks to your guild it took me 3 trys to kill him the first time i forgot to pot supers and prayer the sec i forgot to move off the oranges spaces lol but the 3rd time with dharkos i killed him with out him healing at all but almost died because ran out of prayer and finshed the fight with 2 tuna potatos left lol but long story shourt dont follow runehq guide you will die alot so follow seven deadly i did in 3 trys thanks man

this is freaking impossible, the rangers do way too much damage, by the time he gets to around 20% health left, I'm taking so much damage I can hardly do anything I think I'll wait for the nerf before trying to do this again

why are you using royal d hide -_- he hits with melee which is twice as effective against range gear.....
