After a period of closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the British Museum re-opened on 27 August 2020, with new measures in place to ensure a safe and pleasant tour for the public and the staff. This video shows our visit on a Saturday morning.

“Great Britain” is the shorter version of “Greater Britain”, as Britain only encompasses England and Wales, making up “Britannia”. Do you unironically believe they called themselves “Great” out of arrogance? Literally the only reason you’re confused is because Ireland (Little Britain) and Brittany (Lesser Britain) opted for different names understandably. Great Britain was originally Albion, for example.
