What did they expect?A welcome with open arms. The Irish were oppressed long enough.

Give me a uniform and a weapon, I'll do you whatever you ask. At 0:35, one of them says ''We thought they were traitors.'' Conclusive proof, if ever you needed it, that nearly all British soldiers, who served in Ireland and in other occupied lands, didn't have a clue about true patriotism.
