It’s just average Grand Cross matchmaking. Once I get out of gold league in geared, 90% of my opponents are real players with minimum 20k cc more than me, often 40-60k.

you should make use of tyr's low health more damage by giving him top 4 gears attack and fully removing his hp gear at the bottom, with no hp and red melascula on the team he'll reach 1% hp easier

the foods (which you make with Ban in the tavern) have special effects, most are for PvP. there is a food that you prepare with Ban, which gives you the possibility to dodge the first attack you take, an opponent, in PvP, can attack you 3 times, with this dodge food, he can only hit you twice (If the Opponent uses an attack that takes all of your characters (Known as Aoe) all characters dodge that attack, however, if the Opponent uses a card that attacks only one of your characters,this character of yours dodges, however, the food loses its effect, and your other characters can be attacked by the Opponent's characters)
