Spartan 05 you’re right which is why I changed to Hercules (cause of the killing of the Stymphalian birds) (there are 2 variations of the myth where he has a bow or a sling) turns out the isn’t really a set god for slingers

achílleios ptérna is a good unit name you could use Lionheart, it means Achilles heel

Lionheart if you ever get a Fighter or Warlord hero, you should name him Patroclus because that was Achille's righthand man in the Trojan war and his death causes the Fall of Hector in the Illiad

could you name one of the spear units : “Achilles’es phalanx”? Also, on a side note, the name of that city state north of you, Iolcos, sounded realy familiar for some reason. It’s Jason’s home town, from the story of “Jason and the argonauts”. You know, the one with the golden fleece, the minotaur and the witch queen Medeea ( among other things).

For what it’s worth, I love the lengthy world map turns! I think I prefer that part of the strategy to the actual fights. But I get why some people might find it boring

Histiaea can be pronounced one of two ways: HI-STEE-EYE-A (the first 'i' is short, as in 'hit'; the second 'i' is long and is pronounced like an 'ee' vowel; the 'ae' is long and sounds like the word 'eye'; and the last 'a' is short, as in 'hat') OR HI-STEE-AY-A (everything the same as the first option, except that the 'ae' is a bit shorter and sounds like the 'ay' in 'ray', as in 'ray of sunshine') Either of these are legit, but the stress of either pronunciation comes on the 'ae' vowel sound (i.e. the third syllable) :)

I have a few ideas for unit names: Javelins: Zeus' Lightning Bolts Spears: Bronze Wall, Spearmen of [insert any Greek god], Sworn Spears of Achilles General names for really any unit: Olympus's Fury, Merry Men of Dionysus, Athena's Justice, Achilles' Wrath, Fists of Heracles, Myrmidon Fury, Men of Bronze

I’m not sold on the colour coordinated resources... like are you 100% sure he wanted wood despite the NPC having 0 bronze? (The red and green is confusing, green because they want to trade or green because they want it?) What makes me wonder is that Odysseus had like 18k food and it was red... surely that means he wants rid of it/doesn’t value it?

the aegean runners are really not that great they tend to underperform in combat and there javs are weak,also they get melted in long fights(little armor).But they are good in the early game
