The harmony of the girls in this song is some of the best I have ever heard. If anyone wants to know what perfect harmony sounds like, this is the pentacle. I put it on loop and drowned for hours in pure listening pleasure of the girls at their finest. Their voices are (were) a gift to the world, to everyone and especially all of us who grew up singing with our own family. Please God, let me sing a couple songs with these talented siblings in your Kingdom when I arrive.

if your're not already familiar with it look up a live video of them from the early 2000's (i believe) when they reunited live. they harmonize as perfectly as ever, 40+ years later

Yes me too. This takes me back to so many good times, bad times, and all that stuff. And reminds me so very much of my late Mom and Dad. Amazing.

This is the best track on my Best of the Browns CD. I love it that they added a basso profundo, but I wouldn’t know who he is.

The bass singer on this song was Louie Nunn (sp)? He was with the Anita Kerr Singers, according to Maxine. That should answer your questing about the really "low" Oh No!
@drkrumatters57595 жыл бұрын
RIGHT! LOUIS NUNLEY. HE WAS ALSO WITH THE JORDANAIRES

I don`t use this word on a regular basis as it`s often used out of context and in many cases it just isn`t apt. However this song is just a little bit "awesome" don`t you all agree?
