Bruce has it all, the tone, the phrasing and the feel, all these guys sound great tbh, think I’m hearing tons of Fatts Navvaro and Lee Morgan, as well as Wynton influence in Bruce’s phrasing

Great tune! Beautiful playing by all!!! Too bad the piano wasn't tuned, but doesn't detract from the performance, kinda vintage sound. (Still woulda liked the piano tuned).

Shit ton of sharpness. Sounds pink to me. Edit: to add… it felt to me like he was hitting some of the particularly colorfully tuned notes on purpose in his first solo as if to say “it’s not me guys, listen to what I’m working with!” And also “it’s cool, I’ll make it sound good.” It’s a lovely thing.
