There really isn't a "full eskrima" as you say. Eskrima style is a martial art but it's not really a school to follow but more so a set of principles applied to other martial arts. There are said to be as many styles as there are islands in the Philippines, over 7000. The main principle to Eskrima is personal adaptation to suit the user. Josie would feel more Eskrima if she had a grapple game and her parry wasn't so needlessly specific. Really only those 2 things gave me the Eskrima feel and if they are going to make her parry so stupid specific at least allow it to weapon and elbow parry. As for speaking Tagalog, that's not really needed. Philippines has English and Tagalog as their official languages there, you can get by with just English. On top of that, if they decided to get Josie to speak the Filipino language, what would her dialect/accent be? There are hundreds of dialects in the Philippines because of again the islands there. And also her current English voice is believable by the way, accents are typically determined by the class and upbringing for English speaking Filipinos. Her accent just makes me think she grew up wealthier than average or visited the US.

Heihachi uses goju Ryu karate. Kazuya uses shotokan karate. Jin in 3 used shito ryu karate, but now uses kyokushin, though he still uses shito ryu as devil jin. Lidia uses what is known as the 'traditional' variant of shotokan that is typically what people think of when talking about karate.

Josie can literally still been in the game but with a full escrima moveset. And say what you want about Fahk but he is popular in specific areas of the world and wouldn't be hard to make completely different than Bruce if they added him back in. Also people on Twitter, KZbin & random website polls don't mean Bruce requests are "Everywhere" and they don't represent the entire Tekken Base as a whole. IMO the problem with Bruce is not that he was such a great character, but that: 1- Replacing him was not a real need. 2- The replacements have been incredibly underwhelming. Had Josie been a better character, with an interesting personality and motivations instead of an isufferable trope gimmick, had her been directly connected to Bruce and the past story of Muay Thai IN TEKKEN, had her moveset better honored the infamous yet awesome gameplay Bruce had... I think much more people (including me) will be maining her right now, and most will be happy seeing Bruce as a background sensei/old star figure. Edit: I forgot to mention Fak. I'm one of those Bruce mains. I loved his gameplay changes in T6. Thats when he gained his main stance moves and wall travel combo. Gameplay wise he's decently deep and very different from josie and fahk. Sadly neither one of those two did it for me and i tried my best to enjoy them but all 3 are different from each other. It's like trying to replace armor King by fusing some of his moves with king; it just doesn't work ( I'm also an armor King main....T7 was not fun for me until he came back at least).

The issue with Bruce is that he really should have received the move lost that was given to fakhuram so It invalidates him. It seems more research and mocap was used for Fak compared to Bruce. They could fuse the move list together to male a new Bruce. So you had Fak, Bruce and his pallete swap Josie. Namco needs to clean up this mess
