Given he's tested this and the new bruen kit is identical in every way except now being in .300 blackout (Slower velocity, but *Shouldn't* show the enemy where their teammates died.) having the barrel and muzzle locked (Sound suppressor) and using a 60 round mag, the damage likely hasn't been altered enough to warrant AP field upgrade over just pulling out a normal bruen with IR rounds for AA usage.

Ammo attachment is bugged. Add ammo, then add the kit, it won't prompt for removal.

Not exactly bugged, the ammo is supposed to be blocked by the kit. That's why you always equip kits as the first attachment so you can see what's blocked.

Even though it's "bugged" you wont get the benefit of that ammo type. If you put say incendiary and then equip the aftermarket kit, you'll still deal the same damage. You wont get the added benefit. So essentially you are wasting an attachment slot.

Ammo name wasnt updated. It says 5.56 not .300 AAC Blackout, or just .300 Blackout for a generic non-trademarked name. Also id love to be able to change ammo types. No reason why we cant have a high grain option that turns up damage range while lowering bullet velocity or just not touching it.

The ammo type attachments for the Bruen are listed in menu as .556, guessing that's why they don't allow it with the kit.

.300 blackout or .300 ACC (trademark to Advanced Armament Corporation) doesn't work in a chamber built for .556. That would require an AMP to do so. My Q Honey Badger eats both .300 blackout and .300 ACC no differently but it was built from the ground up to do so.

@@bbobson2k You're so wrong it's not even funny. .300 blackout/AAC are the same round. AAC developed .300 Blackout, but AAC is trademarked. So only AAC sells .300 AAC, everything else is .300 Blackout. .300 Blackout was also built from the ground up to be easily convertible. It's a necked up 5.56 case operating at the same pressures. All that's needed is a barrel swap and gas settings to be tweaked (if you even need to tweak gas). 8.6 is the same thing. It's a necked up 6.5 creedmoor so all you need is a barrel change. It sounds like you accepted Qs marketing at face value and bought a 5000 dollar gun for no reason. I wouldn't touch Q with a ten-foot pole. Overpriced, marketing is purposefully misleading, quality control sucks, and they tried telling people rotational energy means a harder hitting round despite adding a negligible amount of energy. Q's "The Fix" rifle doesnt even retain mags properly. The only issue I could see this causing irl, is with the belt feed system and built in suppressor. Suppressor would cause gassing issues and the necked up nature of the round would for sure cause issues with the belt. That could be fixed of course, but once that's done, there's no reason for not being able to switch up ammo weights and whatnot. I will congratulate you though, you clearly have more money than me, but it doesn't seem to have done you well though.

This Kit's stats look good and I'm definitely liking it. I also want to mention, hopefully SHG doesn't take too much time away from making new content by buffing the MW-II weapons and attachments. One extremely simple way to buff the MW-II weapons would be to bring back attachment tuning ONLY for MW-II weapons and attachments, in particular because detailed stats are here now. Also, like Ace said I hope they carry forward some Ground War and Invasion maps from MW-II to increase the total maps for those modes so they can focus more on multiplayer.

Just wanted to say that you can technically put ammunition on the kit (and they do work from my testing). If you equip the ammo type first before putting on the kit, it doesn't get overridden. I personally do this to keep my High Velocity Ethereal tracers on the weapon Edit: This same glitch can be applied to some other weapons with conversion kits, like the MCW JAK Raven kit. Normally you can't equip the KR Midnight 13" Barrel, SL Collapsed Stockless Mod, or RB Claw-PSL Grip to the kit (as the kit is built with those attachments). However, you can equip those attachments and then the kit itself and keep the benefits of the barrel and stock (rear grip doesn't give stats for it if equipped).

You can turn the bruens into an 'almost SMG' if you go with the no stock attachment, ads speed of around 230ms, wouldn't challenge folks at range mind you but great on the small maps playlist

btw i watched jgod's vid for this gun in wz, u can put hi velo rounds or incendiary, u just have to equip them 1st and then apply the kit, it doesnt remove it, u cant do for the barrels etc. its not just a menu glitch, i tested it in firing range, from the bullet effect i can see it does shoot incendiary, dunno if this just visual, coz i didnt test against a real game killstreak.

I had to look this up recently but apparently "recommended" weapons are guns they are currently "working on". All the MW2 guns had a firing visibility pass with the release of season 3, they lowered all the smoke that blasts out of the muzzle when you are firing.

I never tested it but I'm multiplayer but in WZ since I was curious about it, it looks like you can change the ammunition. You have to apply the ammunition first then attach the aftermarket part second but that was the workaround. I'm not sure if they patched it out though.

You show 50ms open bolt delay for both your previous bruen build without the aftermarket part and the new one with it. Is that a mistake? You said 30ms or so should be the delay without the kit, right?

I used the Tac Evolver for all the challenges for the Bruen AMP as I have a better mobility build for it (I play small maps) vs the Bruen. My Bruen build is for killstreaks in the sky but now going to play around with a build using the AMP for LMG daily challenges. 👍

Personally, i don't like the Bruen MK9 in this game in general because it bounces too much. It feels more like a MWII than a MWIII gun. And the way they balance the .300 Blackout ammo is weird. They killed the bullet velocity. It's the same with the Chimera for example. I mean i understand, you trade off being off the radar for bullet velocity but it doesn't make sense from the physics pov and some things i prefer that it makes sense. But maybe bounces more on m&k so idk. It feels really bad. You have to use like and SMG with an worse mobility so it's better use a SMG
